Yup yup I know the GT series is supposed to be the newer one, at least compared to the older T3 and T4s... so I wasn't sure they'd be the same flange size.

yep yep, the gt28rs uses a to4b comp housing(something i didn't know untill now) hah =), same comp housing that im using on the p5.

Frankly I dont know his reasoning about putting a cheap piggyback when he obviously has a banging engine. As I said, after talking to him it seems like he didnt know much. And most of his stuff is done by others...like local shops in town.

My only reason is that he doesnt know much and just listen or grabed the word of another shop who may or may not be ripping him off. Its not like hes a bad guy...if he like it then go for it. I must say that not all the stuff in his car is his choice. Remember its him and his dad's project car.

I do agree that he tried to make a simple turbo protege into a audi RS6 and s***...it is kinda outta place. But then again they have integras and stuff in that club...and yet they have less bling. The only people who get real respect when it comes to performance in jade crew is the STi and EVO. The EVO raced a local WRX on the highway and it was ridiculious how fast they were going....I believe his exact word were I lost track cuz my speedometer only goes to 140mph. or somethign like that.

(BTW, Props to my fellow evo owners for helping me figure out the issue..you guys saved me a day at the mechanics.) Oh and I wanted to say, some of the people from jade say judges in contest love Dynos...and thats the reason behind show cars building up there engine. Anyways they arent asshole or anything...pretty cool guys. Just wished they were more performance oriented rather then show. Like build your car up before you bling it out...and dont get too outrageous....Nawwwwwsssss and a 5000W sound system. they get alot of crap from the tuner/performance guys in town. But I guess it doesnt matter as long as they like it.

I guess it worked cuz some of those cars made it ont the set of 2 fast 2 furious. The BMW roadster (for sale) is in the opening scene...

Oh if you dont know JADE CREW. They started out driving Ford Probes...it was a club full of probes... I think the EVO guy was the last to get rid of his probe (not sure). How far they have come...well that the story I've been told by numerous people around town.

I remember this...I regretfully have to admit that I went to the premiere of F&F at Citywalk with a group from mx6.com (& some guys from Probetalk). I remember getting to the theater & seeing that Jade had their cars on display in front of the theater & the president's "Probe GTR" was there. I think that's the last one they had in the club.

sorry, but it's ugly. It is like they went for no particular direction with the look of it. Parts are just slapped on. The fenders/wheels look to big for the car, and make the rest of the car look small. The spoiler is hideous, so are the wheels, and the fender flares and IC just stand out too much. It's like no part fits the other, and someone just slapped s*** on it.

Not for me thanks.

Body kit isnt cheap (wings west) and I would like to know what other body kit they make for the MSP? atleast its not a buddy club body kit. I not a big fan either but I believe he did all that he could do...its hard to find parts for the speed. Thats why im so suprised he even chose a MSP to be his project car. From what I know its not even done yet...hes still going to do more stuff to the body...which I dont know what he could do. Maybe he'll mold his flares and skirts in. Atleast he got rid of the vinyl that was plastered on the side....that was real tacky.

Personally, I would have kept the kit off and bought the Speedvision replica front air dam from corksport, custom made the exhaust (I don't like that straight out s***), left all the god damn rICE video and audio system off and actually put some money in a standalone instead of 'upgrading' everything.

I don't consider it an 'upgrade' unless it runs like it should, which it won't without some engine management.

IMO the MSP looks beautiful stock...the only body work I would do is get a front spoiler/lip. MAybe wheel spacers or wider tires...and thats about all...maybe new rims.

But if they had the bodykit in that one MSP concept drawing (red one) I would be all over it.

I'll ignore that seeing as my deflector is a neccesity around here given all the sand/rocks flying around. EVERYONE has a deflector here in town, otherwise your hood would be massively chipped. I won't drive a new car off the lot without it.

Besides, given I have had at least 200 emails asking where I got it to, and where to get them....I don't think it's that bad. Hey, if I could live without it, I would.

btw: There's not 1 rock chip on my hood. NOT ONE.
