I would fall in love with a $13,500 car.

My dad was out of town today so I figured I would treat myself to his car via his spare key. He drives a 2002 black 300m Special with exhaust, CAI, 15% tint and spoiler.

Pull out of the driveway and I love the sound of the engine and exhaust just raw power. The more I drive the more the excitement wears off. The car is huge and harder then my 3 to turn and takes more brake pressure. But he's got a boomin audio system.

Get to Taco Bell to meet my friends and I've had enough. I was supposed to follow this chick babe to play DDR but I actually disliked driving the car so much I brought it back and got my Mazda 3i. Manual transmission, locks etc. All I have as of now is a 15% tint and saved money for whatever I want to add (what should be my first addition?). Hop into and and take a deep breath.

Was I really supposed to fall in love with a $13K car over a $35K car? Maybe it was the manual transmission compared to automatic or the fact that it was MY car. Either way I found that funny...

that car + tint & spoiler. i don't have my camera on me it's in my car

I had the exact same car. It was very nice. It was also huge. My wife had a habit of bouncing it off of lamp posts, gas pump barriers, and jersey walls.

My folks have 2 of them. They're enormous. You can probably pick one up now with like 50k miles on it for about $10-12k USD. As soon as a new body style is released, the residual value on the old style drops like a stone. Especially since the 300C is so popular.

Chryslers take it in the shitter for resale anyway. I bought mine with 20k on it two years old for $17,000 loaded with everything but a sunroof. I think the sticker was a nudge over 35k.

That's ok, 2 years later with about 50k on it I got a FAT 7k for it on trade! (dance)

I had the same experience after autoxing a CTS-V. Loved the power and it was a manual tranny and sounded great, but turning and stopping was awful compared to the MSP or Miata.
