Who has Cobb AP and one other mod?

1. Did you notice power increases in the lower or higher gears? All
2. Was car able to hold boost to redline? Yes
3. Better gas mileage? Yes if you can keep your foot out of it
4. For power gains only, do you think it was worth the money? Yes
5. Was power gains more vs another mod? Similar power increase to Intake is what I thought. Worth it for the top end power and area under the curve increase. Plus ability of using ATR to tweak a tune, or get custom tuned.
6. Do you regret getting the AP and for what reason(s). No
7. When visiting the dealer (prior to routine service or repair) and you flashed the ecu back to stock, was the dealer able to determine the ecu was flashed?
No, but I am sure the could if they searched hard enough. In other words if your blew your engine and you flashed back to stock I am sure they could figure out the ECU had been flashed a number of times. IF they looked hard enough. Im thinking the dealer wouldnt, but a Mazda Rep may.

In short I would buy it again. Get the intake first though, I got the SRI, but if you want the CAI go for it.

I wanted to add to this thread- I was able to go back to the track tonight. This time I brought my helmet, and changed the launch control to 3500 RPM. Unfortunatley, was still fighting heak soak all night.

My new best time is 13.742 @ 104.45. This was my best of 4 runs ( two 13.8s and 1 13.9). I am pleased, considering my boost air temps were 125-150 degrees at the start of each run. I also was finally able to achieve my first 2.2 sixty foot (thanks launch control).

My conclusion is that the AP and SRI together cut almost a second off my stock 1/4 time. I also believe on a cooler night, I will be able to cut another tenth or two off this time. For now I am happy, I needed that 13.7 slip to officially be faster than the stock automatic C5 convertible vette I had!
COBB FTW!
