Whistler Pro-3450 Remote Mount Radar Detector

Has anybody here used or seen the new Whistler PRO-3450 remote mount radar detector? I want to buy a radar detector that is remote mount, since my parents wont allow me to have a radar detector, so this can be hidden. I also don't want to spend more than $250, and I am definetily capable of installing one of these myself. What do you people think of this radar? Please dont tell me to go buy a Valentine one, or passport 8500 x50, since I had an x50 this summer, and it was great, but I can't have a visible radar detector now that I'm at home for the schoolyear. this also has a ouitside temperature setting, and battery voltage indicator, so it definetily doesn't seem like a radar detector to someone who doesn't know much about them.

I have a Whistler radar/laser detector that has saved me more times than I can count.

From what I've read so far, I think I'm gonna buy it, but I'd love to get some other oppinions on it. I really like some of the features it has, such as being able to mount the diplay unit in any position, and having the text be upright. Nice blue lighting too! The only thing I dont like about this newer version is that you can't buy a rear antenna for it, unlike the previous models of this. You can buy a rear laser detector.....but I dont see the point in detecting laser if I'm not gonna get a laser shifter......if I get hit I'd be getting pulled over if I knew it or not...

Still no opinions? After doing more research, it seems it must be pretty good, since it's one of the few radar detectors sold on radarbusters.com.....

(notice it says they are the three best concealable radar detectors....and there are four listed there....I think they just recently added the whistler 3450 because it's so new).
