Which would work best

you'll notice more driving improvement from the mount and test pipe than a bypass valve, just my 2 cents worth there. i do have test pipes in stock.

The thing is with my stock mm it runs great, only a handful of times have I not been able to shift into third quick. I checked it out and it still looks in great condition. I think if I did any upgrade to that it would just be the cs insert. I haven't heard anything negative about it, some people said it seemed to get soft but when switched back to the stock insert it wasn't the case. They just got use to the cs insert. Has anyone heard anything negative about it. Ken the hks direct bolt on, does it require cutting the tmic cover? And is there any problem with the vaccum hose kinking? I did order a greddy type rs but sent it back because it wasn't what I wanted so I'm looking for a bpv soon as well because my stocker has been crappy lately. Can't wait to order these parts, hope to see a little bit of difference in how the car drives

no cutting of the cover is required for the HKS bolt on valve

What about the kink in the vaccum hose? and nothing is required for the test pipe correct? I'm gonna order some of these parts next week. Should I just pm you or order off your website?

off the website is best. the valve can be adjusted for your particular setup to prevent most any fitment issue.

So nothing else is required for the test pipe? What happens if I get the tp and it won't fit up to my stock exhaust? I don't wanna be the person to get test pipe and it not fit, then be stuck with a part laying around and wasted my money

we sold them with flex joints and wideband ports in 3 inch size back in the day. could i make them again, sure. will people pay what it will cost to sell and ship them? i doubt it. we stopped selling it when Corksport hit the market. its hard to beat a 150 dollar part like that with a 200 plus dollar part.

I have one of yours :) Its nice. But the 3-inch/donut portion at the back barely fits into the stock exhaust being as small as the stock is. But we got it to fit. Anyone NOT running an aftermarket catback I would suggest getting a 2.5-inch test pipe. If you have an aftermarket catback system then 3-inch should mate up just fine

back to the main subject, it seems like people who did have problems with it might of had an issue with the gasket between the TP and cat back. I just got the hks catback exhaust and am going to install it in a few hours. maybe ill figure it out when i get a look at it.

I'd appreciate it, Uhateit I'd like to get a 2.5" but I plan on getting a cbe later on so wouldn't a 3" be better than a 2.5" test pipe? Don't you have a test pipe on your car? It would be a pita to change or buy a new gasket if I had to take the car in for warrenty work.

if you plan on making the whole system 3 inches, there isn't much reason to buy anything else

so i put the exhaust on this morning without a hitch. on the cat there is a donut gasket thing that you leave on their to put on the catback. im pretty sure the problem youre thinking of is maybe the test pipes didnt come with a gasket to attach to the rest of the exhaust. just my thoughts. oh and its raining in CA so i havent got on the throttle yet. wah.
