Hey everyone,i just had a question about which turbo our MSP's can use as a DIRECT SWAP... something that would just bolt right on, without any modifications, i'm not too familiar with turbo's, so i just needed to know about upgrading the turbocharger, and which one would be safe to use...

So the T28 will bolt right on??? without modifications??? hmmmm

So the GT28RS bolts right on to our stock manifold with no mod's???? and should work right away??? where abouts can i get one... how much?

NO!

It will bolt right up after reclocking the turbo, and bending some oil lines, but you guys really shouldn't be looking to just swap the turbo out just for a fun mod. The stock turbo is good up to 18psi, and unless you plan to go beyond that with forged internals, EMS, clutch, injectors, fuel pump, etc... you are wasting your time.

The GT28RS is sitting right here next to me, but it won't be going in until it is necessary. You really need some sort of EMS before you look into swapping the turbo, IMHO.

Yeah I definitely nutted thinking about how fast my car would be with those in it lol

Also I wonder if he just happens to sell all those mods :) and if so.. PRICE EM OUT LOL!!! I definitely wanna upgrade the motor....

thanks for all the help guys, and especially 505zoom, well i took my money and went out and bought a new IVA-D300... its a MOBIL MULTIMEDIA CENTER by ALPINE... ^_^ fun stuff, figured that speed wasn't always necessary... sometimes its funner to have other stuff haha.

DON'T UPGRADE YOUR TURBO UNLESS YOU FIX MAZDAS CRAPPY LOWER END!!!!!! The GT28RS bolts up with very little modification.
