Which manufacturer looks closest to HID without the cheap look?

I use Eurodezigns bulbs- they are great. They look real good and come with a lifetime warranty, and they were pretty cheap. They are 6000k and draw only 60 watts.

My friend had these on his tiburon. Isn't 600K like.. purple? Anyways, after about 2-3 weeks they didn't look very blue at all anymore, the light output wasn't as good as the sylvania silverstars he had in before, and after a month both of them were blown.

After dealing with numerous sets of crappy bulbs (some mentioned in this thread). My 2cents would be to not waste your money on fake HID bulbs. With all the money you blow on some of those outrageously priced bulbs you've already saved up almost half the cost of the real deal. Also, on the higher wattage bulbs THEY WILL BURN YOUR STOCK HARNESSES by the amount of draw On average an HID kit runs at a constant 35w, that's less draw then your stocks. To sum it up, if what you're looking for is the HID look don't fake it. No matter how expensive your Piaa's are you will still be looking at all the other oncoming cars with HIDs with envy. But if you must go bulbs do the Silverstars

Hawaiinnights, could you post a pic of your car with the lights like agains a garage door or wall or something so we can see the output? Thanks.

well im not upgrading to an HID kit untill I can afford to have my headlight housing modded with the correct parts for an HID setup, So for now I dont mind spending 10-15 bux every 6-12 months on HID looks bulbs. I have just traded from a set of the eurodezigns to some KOBA 55w 5800k bulbs(installing tonight actually) and Ill see what the differenc eis between the 5200k eurodezigns and the 5800k KOBAs, I have had the euro's in the car for about 9 months now with no loss of light output and no blowout in the headlights, but they did discolor the crome reflector right Infront of the low beam bulbs.(the reason I am switching to KOBA)

If I dont like the Kobas Ill jump on the bandwagon spend a little more and get the silverstars/

The Arctic Purple Nokya bulbs are only 55 watts. I have them in my car. They have one of those little 55->85 or whatever things that says it puts out that much worth of light, but it's all just there to make you go "ooh ahh." They draw stock wattage, end of story.

I personally like my 100w "Purple" Nokya's....and there not that expensive...don't remember how much though...had then for a while now the only thing is the fogs, signals, and headlights don't look exactly the same color...I guess since they are different sizes and wattages. But all bulbs in the pic are Purple Nokya's.
