Where the heck do I attach a plate on the front?

Hey there!

We LOVE our new 5 (2010 GT)

Being in Quebec, we are only required to have a plate on the back of the car, so we've had a European plate on the front of our old Civic for years.

Now that we have the Mazda 5, we can't seem to figure out where the plate should be attached... There are no screws on the front...

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks,
Alirio

looks cleaner without it, but mazda made a plate holder that screws INTO the bumper. if you dont have one, count yourself lucky.

Ill trade you! I just removed my plate in the front and am now stuck with 2 holes there that i cant do anything about. You can barely see them on the black piece right above the lower grill.

mazda supplies a bracket/holder that the dealer installs if needed. mine is still in its bag in the trunk. it comes from mazda w/ rivets to install.

Get a couple flat head screws, paint em black, counter sink the holes a bit so they're flush, thread em in. It'll look factory. Though not sure if there is enough plastic to counter sink.....
