They have a total of four clamps plus some 3m clear tape as protection. You just put the tape on to the hood and slide the clamps on then use the screws to secure the clamps on the hood. The deflector just goes on the clamps and is secured with screws.

To keep the hood from being scratched by the screws hold the clamps down, I used the self laminating films (sticky) in addition to the 3m clear tape that was provided.
What he said. But, the screws are on the underside of the hood. There are already holes for it.

And there are these very small clear buttons with tape on one side. You stick them on the hood ( no damage and they come off easy ) in various places under the visor to keep wind from flapping it around and hitting the car. You don't really "need" the clear things, but there are recommended.

I couldn't find the Mazda one in America so I got mine when I was visiting Canada. Visit any Mazda Dealer up there and they will have it. I wrapped it with bubbles and brought it with me on the plane.

Yeah, my dealership has like, 1 on the wall as display, and always has a bunch in stock. If you are close to Canada, or have someone who is a friend in Canada, have them buy it and ship it. The mazda ones work best obviously, as they are made for our car, by the people who made our car.

blast from the past...
Anybody know the part number from Mazda for the Deflector for the Protege5? Or... if you happen to own one are you willing to sell? :)
