hey everyone here ,

im a newbie here and have a quick ? Today of all days i hit the biggest pot hole and have read on here that yes you should replace the wheel and the dealer price is a bout 400.00. I have just searched and at finish line wheels price is around 170. does anyone have insite on them ? Also would it have done damge to suspn parts everything looks good on car however .

sorry for the ramble here but man did that pissssss me offf. any help is appreciated.

Well ask the dealer if they'll crap all over you for not ordering a replacement wheel from them. If not go for cheap, and do what you want to. Take it to get the suspension checked out by an honest friend, or someone you know won't make up some BS problem to make money off of you. If the suspension is messed up then you'll probably be able to tell when you drive the car. Just be observant for a few days, talk to people for best deals, have the car checked if you here any noises or anything weird. If it's messed up and you get into an accident you can get the insurance company all over you like stink on s***. I've had the suspension get messed up pretty bad on my 3 in 2 relatively minor accidents.

you didnt get the warrenty that covers wheels and tires for an extra 20 a month

why do you need to replace the wheel? did you seroiusly bend it on a pot hole?? thats pretty impressive and i think pics are a must!! yes getting a wheel from the dealer is stupid expensive i would either try to buy one at a junk yard if you have the 04-06(?) 5 spokes as there are probably a lot there as well as ebay if you don't live near a decent size scrap yard. or suck it up and buy a set of 4 aftermarket wheels and if you stay at 17 or 16 depending on your car you can keep the same tires and have a nices looking 3.
