Hey guys im sure this was covered in another thread and if you could point me in the right direction that would be helpful or just give a little help here!! :)
So i just recently bought an 02 P5 im not new to proteges tho as i owned a 94 1.8bpt and a 99msp swapped also my bro has a 03 msp. Im looking to get a wide aggressive look. I have megan racing springs with stock struts. pretty stiff but plan to upgrade the struts soon. I want my wheel to poke out a little from the fender with camber 0'd out maybe a inch or so. the wheels im looking to get are 16x8 +38. Do i just buy spacers or does offset come in to play here? any help would be appreciated!

You can achieve the stance with either a higher offset wheel, or spacers. Depending on whether or not you can get the wheels you want in the right offset. The factory offset is +50mm. The closer you get to zero, the more the wheel protrudes. +38 may fit, depending on the tire you choose.

The lower offset you run, the higher the chance of fender contact. You may have to roll them, at the least.

thanks guys. im getting slotted and drilled rotors next week so sounds like a plan to go ahead and roll my fenders while the wheels are off. this helps alot since offset is still confusing. I understand it but i still get lost.
