Wheel care

Sorry if this has already been covered, but what is everyone doing to protect their wheels? Is there somthing special that anyone uses that is a "must have"? I usually use Mothers Mag and Wheel polish - is that cool for these wheels or no? Any help is appreciated.

P.S. I've had my car for one day, put 400 miles on it (drove from Chicago to Detroit) and today on the way home from work I picked up a nice sized BOLT in my rear passenger tire. Haven't pulled it out yet, hoping it stays full enough to take to the shop tomorrow. That really sucks hard ... It has a washer on it, so the washer is gridging the tread, and the bolt is going directly into the main rubber. GRRRRRRRRRR

um, that would be "bridging" ... typing sucks almost as bad as a bolt in your new tire.

well as far as your wheels go i've got the mother mag & aluminum polish and about a half hour ago ordered my wheel wax which is suppose to be fantastic as far as cleaning and caring for your wheels go. once i use it and get my RH's back on the car where they're be picking up brakedust amongst other s*** i'll give a review
