Wheel and Tire size question

While driving on the freeway recently, a large piece of concrete re-bar fell off a truck in front of me. In the process of avoiding the concrete hitting my car, I swerved off to the right and slid over a curb, bending two of my wheels.

Now, I was looking on WheelMax for some Enkei RP-02's (on sale apparently) for a 2005 Mazda 3 (the site doesn't specify a hatch or a sedan, I have a hatch). A couple questions I have:

I have a 2006 Hatchback, so will wheels that fit a MY2005 3 (either sedan or hatch) fit my car?

The recommended tire size according to Wheelmax is 215(45R17 i think), will these larger tires fit on 17" wheels without rubbing?

Thanks in advance

Yes. The important thing to check is offset. I don't see RP-02 on Enkei's web site. I see RPM2 and RP-03 but no RP-02, so either it's discontinued or you made a typo. You'll have to find out what the offset is.

Wouldn't advise it. Not because of rubbing, though. 215 is a bastard size that won't match the stock diameter, no mater what aspect ratio you pick. Either stick with the stock 205/50 or go up to 225/45.

See this thread and this thread for more detailed discussion.
