Guys, everyone should list cars that they think should have beaten them, but they either pulled a little on them, or just ***** them. I actually took my friend's corvette in the twisties (he's auto and its older... like 89 i think)

So what's your best kill? While you're at it, why not list a few times you got *****? lets hear it guys, I wanna know how much ass the msp kicks.
 
Lamborghini Diablo i destroyed it it wasnt even funny. then later that day i saw it again and asked the guy if i could check it out... how come it said pontiac on the inside lol
 
cuz he forgot to write "Lambergeenie" On the dash and rip off the old pontiac symbols?
 
Seriously I pull on this guys 02 Monte Carlo. I would have beat him but I lost traction. I have on the spare becaus I cracked my fatory wheel.
 
hmmm, BMW 318is , jaguar X type, multiple civics (vtec included), porche 944, an Integra GSR and a very close loss to a WRX wagon. :)

There are many others who tried and died but the above are the highlights. I run stock BTW.
 
before i did the exhaust and filter, but with the boost at 11psi i was creeping on a newer body style 5.0 stang 1993 i think. I was at a dead stop and he was rolling about 7mph. i didnt think he would hit it but he did. sounded like he had some minor mods, exhaust, etc. But the look on his face when a four door econobox was pulling on his big ol' v8 was worth anything.

got beat when i was stock by a 300zx, with exhaust and i dont know what else, it must have been n/a, cause i thought those things were faster. Did the 300zx ever come with a turbo? Could have probably matched him but this was my very first race and i shifted bad and hopped alot
 
One time when I was drunk I beat a homeless man to death with a crowbar behind a bar. j/k

The 300zx had a Twin Turbo Version pushing 300 hp I think. Maybe it was a little more. It was right up there with the Supras, rx-7s, and 3000GT vr-4.

I'm skewing the pot, because I wasn't in a Protege...but (shrug)...I'm gonna reply anyway! :D

I was coming home from school one night, couple years ago, in the Ford. I pulled off the ferry just with a white newer (LS1) Camaro SS. As we worked our way thru traffic, it became just he and I. There was a bit of a downhill slope - hundred feet maybe? which turned into two lanes going left, and uphill. He was right behind me when I hit this spot. I went WOT in 2nd and into 3rd, saw him shrink down behind me. As I crested the hill I let up. He came flying up and got even with me. As we had about 1/4 mile of clear road I rev'd once, then Floored it. I instantly put a solid length on him, and kept him there all the way from 40mph - to close to triple-digit speeds. I backed off as we approached the century mark -
At the next light, I take a right. He's right behind me, and as soon as he completes his turn I hear him stand on it. I follow suit. As he got the jump, he's right on my 1/4 panel - I kept him there to about 60, where I backed off, due to a red light approaching. Red light, He now in the Right lane, me in the left. His car is rev'ing, and lurching fwd a little bit. I hold steady at around 3000rpms. At Green, we BOTH spin our tires. He finds traction first, and darts ahead by a nose. As soon as my front tires get grip, I make up the ground, and am leading him by about 5 feet. We go thru a couple gears just like that, until 70-80mph, where we both back off. At the next light he rolls down his window and offers the 'WTF?' comments this car brings, when it races. :)

"What you got in that thing??" He asks...
"A little hair drier" I said w/ a grin
"I could totally tell you had SOMETHING when you took off like a bat out of hell,just before where it becomes two lanes! what do you run w/ that?"
"My best has been 13.8 at 106..."
"Damn, dude, that's a GREAT trap speed - that's the v6 probe, right?"
"Yup...it's neat what 8 pounds of boost can do, eh?"
"Right - on bro!"

As the light was changing we waved and took off, driving normally from there on out. :)
 
Well my car is stock so far, and around my town its hard to find the cars that are done the right way and not just the little 16 year old dumbshits. But the kills I have so far are VW Golf, Honda Accord, Chevy Cavalier lol, a turbo Civic and I tied (dead serious, neck and neck the whole way), A few Civics with minor mods.

But I have been beaten by a Trans Am WS6 (or whatever that one is), he beat the s*** out of me the whole way, I even tried a second time just to make sure. Then there was this dude on a bike with a chick on the back, gave him a little run, for some reason I had him all the way up to about 55-60, then he passed me.

This car is damn surprising for stock, cant wait to get my boost gauge so I can turn it up.

hey all i live in west palm beach florida, im looking for a guy that owns drives a dark blue if not black mazdaspeed protege. just want to say good race, on the race we had on the turnpike. this happended last night 8/14/03 we were coming from moroso speed way. if any one knows this person let him know im looking for em.
