One day i turned my car on and on the radio display to the very right there was the letters "AMB" and 3 lines under it. What is it and how do i fix it, its buggin the hell outta me.

There's a 15amp fuse located in the fuse box inside the engine compartment that you'll need to pull in order to reset the display. I think it's labelled INT (check in the Owner's Manual). Make sure you write down your radio station presets and tone presets before doing this as it will clear the radio's memory (it didn't do so on my dad's 3 however).

To answer the first part of your question (What is it?), it's part of the Automatic Climate Control that N. American cars don't have. On some people's vehicles, the system has a brain fart and looks for the outside ambient temperature sensor. When it doesn't find the sensor, you get the AMB and --- under it.

Non-N. Am vehicles can actually buy the sensor, plug it in and have the display actually work. We don't even have the wiring harness to plug into, though. :bs:
