dan, glad to hear youre happy with the lip. i think the level at which the lip sits at matches up very with the side skirts. it's not so much speedbumps that will get you, but rather steep downhill slopes. i learned to drive "sideways" to avoid a couple spots here and there when I worked around the chinatown area.

I put it on, the system is a little loose and rattles a bit.

I will have a friend help me cut and weld about 6"s off the tip

The sound at idle works for me. Hard to get a clear sound of it under throttle due to the rattling.

I just got my car back from the shop all turbo'ed up and everything!!! Now I just need to figure out this SS FTC so I idle decent, then I can start working on tuning. Don't mind the filth I will start cleaning real soon, I just havent had the car for the past couple months while all the stuff was getting installed.

i would love to talk about the perrin exhaust i have the protosport dp and magnaflow it is low on noise but still opens up the exhaust, trust me my gf didnt even notice the difference when i installed it. I can come show you so i can look at the perrin shoot me a pm

I think I am going to weld the stock resinator into the Magnaflow. I am going to check to see if that would cause any issues. I am thinking no because the stock resinator is a larger diameter than the magnaflow.

Under hard accelleration, when the wheels start to spin, the suspension in front starts bouncing..... not fun. Once I got used to it, I could keep it under control, but it's just nice knowing I don't have to worry about it any more. There should be plenty of threads talking about it, just look at any one that talks about a new motor mount. If you wanna see it first hand, floor it in first, go to redline (tires should be spinning) and throw it into second with the rpms up a little higher than usual, you'll see what I mean (if you're stock). You should feel the front end hopping, and if you did it really hard you'll hear your exhaust slam into your frame....scared the s*** outta me the first time it happened, it was so damn loud!

I was teasing, I forget sarcasm doesn't translate over the net very well. Either way, good for you if you enjoy your car even more.

I have the MS coilovers and enginemount inserts from CS among other things. I turn the traction control off and/or keep the tires spinning to avoid wheel hop. I did not like the factory springs and dampers.
