what would you guys choose?

a fwd car with that much power is pretty much useless below 35mph. Mazdas and neons dont have the greatest traction when they are stock never mind modded

I beg to differ man.... thier are plenty low 10 sec neons...

Edit: ircc their are a few even 9 sec neons.... all fwd and none of those rwd conversions( like the 3 rotor p5)

sure if you want to build a dedicated drag car you can make a fwd car with power hook up ok. if you want to have a car that is fun to drive every day or want to take corners in your car a high hp fwd car is useless imho. asking 2 tires to brake, turn and provide traction for acceleration is too much. balance, not power (or at least not torque), is the name of the game when building a fwd car

I'm pretty sure the Srt-4 or any fwd car with similar performance is fun to drive every day and what not.

You can take corner's pretty well on the p5 and it's a FWD.

I agree but even a stock srt4 puts close to the same power as the ms3 and both are fine for a DD. Even then you can add little stuff like traction bars, motor mounts to help with fwd traction and still have a fun DD. You dont have to have a all out drag car for it to be quick, fun, and reilable in a fwd car.

Their even comes a point that even rwd cars can brake loose at 70mph. It all comes down to how you use the power.. I can light up the tires through 3 gears in an old geo but that doesnt mean its not usable.

Edit: And as far as handling goes you can alwaus upgrade easier then beef up the motor.

TO, whatever car you pic just get it throughly looked over by someone who knows that car to help detect anything that might come up later on.
