ok guy I need ur help, I want to go biger turbo but i dont know what i shood do my 2 options are.

cost $3k
gt3076r w/ IWG, PG mani, cpe hpf, and a cpe stand back

or

cost $6500 +
weit 5 mouth and do

gt35r w/ ewg, pg mani, cpe hpf, weit for the stand along, and get the motor bild

what would u do i dont really want to spend that much money bot i dot want to worry about the moter going boom boom!!

I say build it man. Stronger engine=higher boost=(drive2). Then again, if you go BT, a tuner is a must. So perhaps option 1 might be better. What I would do though, is wait a few months, and then get:

engine internals, HPFP, CPE SB, and the PG Mani. Its cheaper to replace the turbo if you burn it up, than it is to replace the entire engine if you blow it up. I'm not sure what you're current mods are, but hopefully you already have the exhaust and intake work taken care of via a downpipe, cbe and intake. And you'll definitely need a FMIC.

do it right the first time bro... you dont want to have twice the downtime. and it will cost much more if you blow the engine.

not sure you can get a GT35 and build the motor for 6.5k... but, if your going to do it... do it right and get it all forged. IMO.

Depends on if he's doing the work himself.
(these are just roundabout numbers)
GT35 - $2k
PG Mani - $500
CPE HPFp - $350
CPE SB - $650
Internals - $1300

That's $4800 in parts alone. Now if he's getting it done somewhere....forget it. Labor would easily take up a chunk of that.

Man, don't take this the wrong way, but you really need to try to spell. "Bild"? "weit" "stand along" "shood" "dot" "moter"

It's brutal to try to read all that.

Getting to your question: what is your goal? You can spend as much money as you have and build as much power as the block can take. It's pay to play with any serious power gain. Just remember that this is a fwd platform. There are serious traction issues in the lower three gears with even modest upgrades in power. I have to feather the throttle all the way through first and second and part of third now with WOT runs with my modest mods. I don't know how I could use much more power with this chassis and on street tires.

There are limits on tire width and on the strength of the other parts of the drive train. Strength of the transaxle, half-shafts, engine mounts, suspension pieces, all become very questionable when you push the outer limits of a truly "built" engine.

I can say that the stock K04 turbo maxes out at 18 psi boost at 5,500 rpm or a taper to about 15-16 psi to 6,000 rpm. Try to push it beyond that and you are asking for trouble.

If you want accurate info on built engine, big turbo cost and performance consider going to the "other" board, the one with "speed" in its name. If you have to be asking about cost, you probably ought not to be considering it, because the initial cost is just the beginning. Pushed hard, things will break.

Like I said, it's pay to play.

well the thing is im not looking for power im ok with making over 300hp, I dont race the car i just want to know that is there if i need it , im really just thinking of doing this because my stock turbo got f-up and i ned to come out of pocket on the turbo im not a power hungre guy im ok with the way my car runs now i just want to make it over the 300hp hump.

ps. sorry about my spelling

If that's the case, why not go with a GT2871 which can be had for $1500 or so and supports up to 400hp. That's well within your goal, and is several hundred less than the GT30 or GT35. No need to go that big if you just want to be over 300hp. If you don't already have one, a FMIC will likely be necessary for the bigger turbo; and a downpipe might be a good idea also. Just some stuff to keep in mind.

With a goal of 300hp, this is what I would do:

GT2871 - $1500
PG FMIC - $600
CPE catted DP - $700 new but can sometimes find one on the FS forums for cheaper
CPE HPFP - $350
CPE SB - $650
Dyno tuning session - $500
Obviously, this doesn't account for labor, but if you are mechanically inclined enough, you can DIY for a total of $4300. With those mods and a good tune, you should easily surpass 300hp.

Well as long as you can keep the boost in check, you should be fine with all the bolt ons. Obviously building the block would be a safer bet. But if you have a good tune, you should be ok. I've read about people using a tune to push the torque curve a little further into the rpms to avoid too much torque down low which snaps rods. Perhaps thats an option as well?

What's so special about the CPE SB that a normal shop can't tune it for you? I would imagine that any shop who offers tuning services would be able to figure it out.
