anything more i should be doing?

when i was at that mark i had a coupon sent to me about the 7500 miles check up and there was a fine list of what they "change" and "look" over hahaha yeah right i called and asked what they did and one of the service guys said all they did was change the oil and didnt touch anything else!

so if its anything like my dealer do the s*** yourself! dealerships are a scam and have complete idiots in the service department

Whatever you had the dealership do at the 7,499 mile checkup, have them do it again. Same for the 7,501.

There is so much wrong in that flyer/ad, I don't know where to begin.

Sweet. Pay a lot of money to have them check s*** that shouldn't be close to breaking at 7,500.

90 percent of that stuff can be checked by you in a matter of minutes or less. Don't bring it into the dealer for that s***. You can change the oil and rotate the tires yourself fairly easily, but you shouldn't even have to if your last oil change was synth and less than 5k ago... tires should be rotated every 5k so this doesn't make any sense.

My dealer checks & instpects most of those items at every oil change at no additional charge. (In my case, dealer is cheapest synthetic oil change in town, which still blows my mind) At only 7.5k miles, there really shouldn't be much of anything that needs attention. I'd save my money if I were you. If you were at 75k instead of 7.5k, it might be worth a once-over like that.

the only real work they're doing is the oil change and tire rotation. and because of those things they are able to do a "look over" of the rest of the parts on the car that are listed

for instance, because they are rotating the tires, they would have a chance to measure the brakes and rotors and take a good look at the suspension parts. and because they have the vehicle in the air to do this stuff, they are free to roam around underneath the car giving little "wiggle" tests to the exhaust so look at the condition of the hangers, check for rusted components, check the condition of the CV boots, etc.

literally you can add everything together that starts with "check" or "inspect" on that list and it would only take maybe 10 minutes total

so honestly the list seems long but there are so many things that are "kill 2 birds with 1 stone" kind of stuff.
