What to buy? MS3 or Civic si

Really it just comes down to choice and opinion. Everyone will think differently. I have been a huge Honda fan and still am. I think 90% of the cars I have owned have been honda. I am super glad we bought a Speed 3. I love the ease of driving it and the HP and torque is huge.

I am a honda guy an have been for many years but i traded my 07 Civic SI 4 door for the MS3 and couldn't be happier. Yeah 8000rpm is cool and the screaming of vtec but boost makes you forget all about that and you fall in love even more.

I think the SI is fugly as hell, in my opinion. Interior AND exterior.

Not to bash, it's just not for me. Some people bash the hatchback, and that's all g.. it's your deal.. maybe they're just hating on it cause it's the ass of the MS3 they always see!

I owed a 2000 civic si before I bought my ms3. Let me say this one test drive and i was sold. The mazda is better in everyway possible, granted i'm comparing a 2000 to a 2007 its just a fun car to drive. good luck!!

On an amusing side note the 06 3 is more fun to drive than my old Dodge truck... which had a 4 cylinder engine MT and was so slow I had snails carrying groceries passing me.

Now I can never get bored of hearing Vtec in the Si. But I love hearing the turbo in the Speed. But if I had the 2 next to eachother I would go with the Speed.

I just test drove an 07 SI 4dr and must say that I WANT MY SPEED 3!!!(rockon) It rides nice but no power at anything but full throttle. I put my foot down at 45mph in 4th and......nothing. A lil noise but no moving. In the SPEED 3, I would be trying to keep my head on straight.

I MUST GET THE SPEED 3!!!!(nailbyt)

I was considering a Civic SI till I drove the MS3. For me it was all about the torque and I never even test drove the SI. One thing that put me off on the SI was the tremendous number of them on the used market around here that were only 1 to 2 years old .. that told me that there weren't a lot of long term happy customers.

While I'll admit the MS3 is a rarer car, you still have problems finding a used one ..
