so i'm gonna put my system in tomorrow...but i'm still trying to figure out what mod to add next...i'm thinking exhaust...anybody?

I'm guessing that you drive....????? a P5?, just by your name, correct me if I'm wrong. I think that the exhaust option for a mod is a very good one. Back when I drove my Blue beast, I liked what my exhaust did for me. But, that was also with an intake. You might as well buy them at the same time if you have the money, because they work well with each other. But then, that depends on the exhaust you are putting on. Catback is inexpensive so the intake is good to do with it. But headers back is much more expensive, so the intake might be out of the picture, but still a good idea. The intake/exhaust I had were right from my dealer, because I found the price fair, and there was no question on warrenty. The intake/exhaust from the dealer is nice, it looks good, sounds good, and performs well for the money you pay. Another good idea, again only if you have the means when doing the air flow on the car, is to get the head ported and polished. It really helps the flow through from intake to exhaust and prevents detonation. Basically you run smoother, stronger power, with better fuel efficiency if driving conservatively, and even if going hardcore. Basically to start the engine work on a car, in my opinion, you want to go breathing, stregnth(internals(pistons/rods, cams, etc.), power to the ground(tranny), then go big power, aka forced induction, NOS(not a big fan of this stuff), and other such things. The best part is, while improving the breathing and strength, you add power. Then with the tranny, you put so much more of that power to the ground, and then when you add the big power, you engine is ready and willing to handle it. But that is just my opinion on things, everybodies is different. I think you should shop around for the best bang for buck you can get. Pretty much make yourself happy with what you do.

thanks for the advice...i forgot to mention that i already have custom intake and a friend that owns a shop...i haven't talked to him much about it, so i figured i would try to have ideas before i got there....

yes i have a p5, black with all the options..custom CAI is the only mod i currently have....

how much does it cost or how to have the headers ported and polished? this is my first car to play with, so i'm not too familiar with stuff...

Not really sure of the price, but it shouldn't be too high, as there is nothing added to the ar, just having the intake and exhaust ports ground open a bit more and smoothed out, aswell, the surface where the intake and exhasut ports are on the cylinder head is smoothed to prevent detonation, and builds up of carbon. Again, the price should not be to high, and since your friend owns the shop, you might even be able to get it done really cheap if your freind doesn't mind that much. He'll know more about this than I do, as I am not a mechanic, but rather just read about the process, so what I'm saying may not be exactly what they do, but it's the basic idea of freer flowing intake exhasut ports, and a polished cylinder head. But ask your firend on the exact details. I'd say this mod is very good bang for buck, as the power you gain is actually pretty surprising. Can't give you exact numbers on horsepower since I've only known a few people to do it. This is a muscle car trick, that for some reason hasn't caught on in the import world. I plan on doing it soon to my MSP. Watch for details!!!

jayson cant do any port or polish on ur car...all he can do is gheto rig parts on...lol, he doesnt have the right tools/machines/mechanics.
and ive already talked to him/looked thru his orderig catalogs and he can only get a handfull of parts for our cars, just to let u know.

o yeah, u should get a short shifter w/ bushings from kartboy, i think its only $100:)
