What lights?

I have a 2007 mazda 3 hatch and I want to put either white or blue bulbs to replace the old light bulbs for the headlights. What brand should I buy? And bulb number? Im new to this kind of stuff since this is my first mazda.

Are you wanting just a colored bulb (gimmik and cheap $20-$40) or HID's (require more work than a bulb change as you have to add electrical ballasts and cost around 100 bucks)?
h7 is your low beam bulb, 9005 is high beam, 9006 is your fog lights.

If you want cheap bulb changes just go to walmart\advance\autozone and get what you want, if you want HID's go to DDMtuning.com and grab an apexcone or raptor HID kit with the bulbs you want (35w), not the 55w unless you want to change harnesses.

I just want like white or blue lights. What exactly is hids and what will it do different?

HID's are what you see in audi's, mercedes, and are super bright and see a lot farther. If you just want blue just buy some sylvania silverstars or something blue, it would just change the color and not the brightness.
