What kind of mpg are you guys getting?

Not with A/T. I can get through the gears below 3k, and tried driving no faster than 62mph, that's around 2600.

Ya i was wondering about that, I just went through my first full tank of gas. (I'm a proud new owner) And i averaged it out to 23mpg and i went about 10 miles on the freeway, but i noticed while i was on the freeway, goin 75 i was revin about 3800, is that normal. Ive never had a 4 cyl. car before so im not sure how they usually run.

I've got a 5-spd and I consistantly get 31 mpg driving back and forth to work. Most of my ride is at 40-45mph (4th gear) and there are few traffic lights. When I drive on the highway my mpg goes down to about 28mpg...prolly because I drive 70-80 mph.

these engines are meant to run at the higher RMP's.....just hurts the gas milage a little.

ya'll must be drivin really slow.Highways around here are 55 or 65 and you had better be doin 70 in the 55 and 80 in the 65(even in the slow lane) or yur ass is gettin run over

before was 18-19mpg for me...now that i keep the car in auto mode and not manual mode, im getting 23mpg...still pretty bad though...and this is running the tank down to where the light turns on...

Yep. Gotta love the beltways. 80+MPH. You really have to have a 120+ MPH speedo or you have no idea what your speed is.

I usully get 27.5 mpg... but during my roadtrip to AZ I've gotten 24mpg both ways, wtfudge?! A year ago I did Vegas and I got 32mpg... weird...

I hate this car, I get the shittiest gas milage between all of you, I average the most 20mpg and that is piss poor mpg!

Something must be wrong with your car! I beat mine and have alot of stuff done and still get 28mpg! Which I think sucks because my turbocharged mustang got 28mpg and was insanely fast!

i'm averaging about 26-27 mpg on an auto '03 p5, driving about 60/40 highway/local in the city. no mods...all stock. best mpg i ever got off a tank was just over 30....only broke 30 mpg once. kinda sad.

I get 28/29 city driving, and have up to 35 (well, 34.988....) on the freeway. I have a manual w/no sunroof.

My previous P5 had a sunroof and was AT, and mileage was much lower.

EDIT: BTW, I only have a drop-in K&N.

It's usually between 26 and 28 MPG depending on how heavy my right foot is feeling.

My p5 can last about 270miles highway and city mixed with a full tank (about 13gallon), is that normal?

I think it is more like 14 1/2 gallons...seems like pretty bad mileage.
