rebuilding wrecks. I worked there for a couple years in Ky and learned alot about how cars are made inside and out. Basically on the floorboard we would drill out the spot welds and air chisel them apart and slide the new clip into it and weld all the way across which offers more strenth than factory. I did Front wheel drive cars only (lots of neons, cavaliers, sunfires, and olds achievas), as RWD would be even more work. Basically you could buy a front hit car and a back hit car alot cheaper than it would be to buy a front hit and buy all the parts you need. Mind you this was in Ky and southern folk are more apt to by rebuilt cars (from places they trust).
