What have you done to your P5 today?

installed an amp and subwoofer today (first time ever, and solo) and now im all gitty like a school girl xD

and i know i know its easy.... but i HATE wires so this actually means a lot to me.
so my car is pretty much done now.... wow that kinda killed my buzz...
oh well... time to buy and build a new motor so i wont have to worry about this one crapping out on me! (gittyness has been restored)

Moved her from one side of the street to the other. Received MP3 Center Caps and ordered 2 rear calipers.

There was also a satin and matte finish gloss, I thought of doing matte, but I wanted to get as close to the sticker on my back as possible.

When removing end links would it be easier to pop off the ball joints and then cut off the balls, or just cut off the nuts. (That sounds kinda weird, sorry about that)

hehehehehhehehehehe

Are you asking about sway bar endlinks? I would try taking the nuts off first, if thats going nowhere cut it at the nut. To get at the ball (which will be harder to get a good safe angle at) you have to break/pry the endlink off. Either way will work, but be careful you don't cut anything you don't want to, and be prepared for frustration and cussing :)

Yeah, sway bar links. I started on it a couple minutes ago cuz I'm also in doin new pads and rotors. The top one came off no prob and i was all like "Yessssss" and my brother was like woahh, that totally sounded like napoleon dynamite. But the bottom one is pretty stuck. Gunna give it a quick shot of pb blaster and let it sit over night. Ive got the rest of the weekend to get both done along with the brakes. But it does seem like if the bottom one strips it would be easier to grind off the ball because it faces out.

Clutch working and Bled. Had a chance to see the new shift gates for the first time. 1,3,4,5 are short... 2nd (Pull Gear) is actually really long. It is expected as the 2nd gear set is twice as wide as normal to handle anything that can be thrown at it. The long pull is to allow the gear to fully mesh. Continuing with "Operation waste a sunny day in the garage..."

Just got these bad boys in the mail today!

What grease fitting to I need to lubricate those with?
&
What is the best way to bend the mounts to fit?

Busy day...

-Installed BC Coilovers w/ K-Sport rear camber plates
-Installed HardRace lower control arms
-Installed Moog endlinks on all four corners
-Installed GT Spec front strut bar
-Upgraded GT Spec rear trunk cage (those rear bolts are a joke...)

I'm sure I'm forgetting some stuff but it was a good day. I love Georgia cars and the lack of rust!

Washed, cleaned the rims. Going to repaint in bronze.

Looking at rebuilding the spare head that I have as well. Starting to compile the parts for the swap.
