What have you done to your P5 today?

I got my tokico hp shocks and springs on the front done. Those damn end links were a b****. I am headed out of town until next weekend so in two weeks i will finish the rears and post picks. Also going to be putting in a msp rear sway bar while I am under there. Anyone in Iowa have some parts they wanna sell or swap hit me up. I will be around the Ames and Cedar Rapids area.

Replaced the cracked DS fog light yesterday with a used one I bought from the f/s thread but not before swapping the bulb out with a Silverstar. I then removed the PS fog to swap in a Silverstar and stripped one of the effin brass screws. I tried torx, square drive, slotted, ez outs and finally a dremel with no luck. Finally I was able to chip at it with a screwdrive enough to break the head off. Got the lens apart and proceeded to unscrew the remaining bit of screw and the damn thing broke off. It seems to be holding well with only the one screw so I'll run with it like that for now?! After getting it back together I light them up and find the DS is still out, pissed off I walked away and let her sit all night. Just pulled it off today on my lunch break and found that one of the wires on the wiring harness corroded and broke in two...so now my hunt for one begins.

That happened to me too, the ground corroded and broke off. Good luck finding a harness, Mazda wants upwards of $100 for that little bit of wire...

Luckily they used decent quality connectors so you can take it apart and solder some new wire to the pin. That's how I was able to fix mine.

Yep, pain in my ass! I started a WTB thread so maybe someone has one laying around. I've seen several come up f/s over the years so hoping to get lucky. Might just have to use your solution though....

New shoes!
ProjectBlack is complete!! Found some powder coated RX-8's that fit perfectly with the 215/35/18's. I am going to take my car on a date now.

Ordered some rear struts and a new rear wheel speed sensor from OMP. I can't wait till I'm done with school, there's so much fun stuff to install on my P5 :)

I would love to have a set of those RX-8 wheels. I saw a pair powdercoated gunmetal and they were the hotness. That would be the only time I would rock 18"
