What have you done to your P5 today?

You're gonna take your car on a date or take some chick on a date in your car?..........and watchout, there is some dude runnin off with 2 of your spare tires in the 2nd pic.

I cleaned my headlight lens' using Turtle Wax...
Nothing too big, but the difference it made was pretty noticeable!

curious on the details brian, I'm sure it would be overkill though for my build

The BBK Throttle is larger and made to a higher standard than the OEM one which is still fine..

I plan to move a retarded amount of air volume into my engine, and at top speed runs, there will be load for longer durations. I am trying everything to keep the restriction to a minimum.

I am planning to do up a head for the car as well, which will go well with the other mods, however that will likely be later in the summer or next spring.

I want to dyno before and after the head to see once and for all, if doing just the head makes any difference and how much it does.

I would love to have a set of those RX-8 wheels. I saw a pair powdercoated gunmetal and they were the hotness. That would be the only time I would rock 18"

Its a nice agressive look, I think. At first, I was thinking 18's were too big, but with the 215/35/18's they are almost the exact same diameter as my stockers with the 50 series tire. These fill the wheel wells nicely, and are more flush with the sides of the car. Oh yeah, 10mm more tire on the ground all the way around too.

Doesn't the Mazda 5 have some 17s that look just like the 18s off the RX-8s????????? I thought I saw some way back awhile and was thinkin I might go with those just to keep my same tires with a bit more of sidewall than the 35s have. Just too crappy of roads around here for any less sidewall than I don't already have with the 40s. I have already dinged a lip on the inside a rim on a lane marker just trying to get off the freeway when a tire was going down. I can't imagine what hittin some of the s*** around town here with 35s would do. It's pretty stressful pay full attention to traffic, debris and road obstacles that tear up the thing as it is. Glad this isn't my daily driver any more because of it. I can relax in the lifted truck as far as pavement danger and debris.

Installed my roof rack today, then test-fit my iSport wing to make sure my hatch will still open to a (barely) usable level! SUCCESS!! Sorry folks- I will not be selling the wing!! Can't wait to install it!!

Damn it! Err, I mean, yay, good for you, buddy. haha :)

i didnt have anything planned for the P5 today....
and yet somehow i painted my rear valence with plastidip about 30 min. before i had to go to work
(surprised how good it looks on midnight blue)
and on my way back from work, i found myself driving to Lowes to pick up 'Seel and Peal'
(a cheap version of Dynomat)
thinking i was going to put it on some other day.... i ended up doing half of the trunk, both from doors and the glovebox
AND found and cured a few rattles in the doors

SO... without any planning ahead, my car looks better AND is soooo quiet!

so i know there has been a thread on doing an ebay catback with pretty good results, but how do people feel about the rear catalytic converters from ebay such as http://www.ebay.com/itm/2003-MAZDA-...Parts_Accessories&hash=item3cb02f96d5&vxp=mtr

my cat is rattling and i think i hear a leak coming from that area so i am looking into replacing it. probably about time with 129k on the car and it most likely has the original still. will get under the car and verify the leak/rattle before an order (i know the rattle is from it but not sure from which part of it)

or maybe ill throw on a catless mid pipe and keep the my stock catted one for when i have to do emissions testing
