What have you done to your P5 today?

Not a whole hell of a lot since I've last logged in.....

She did stall as I was nearing an intersection late last month. Thankfully the guy behind me had been keeping distance....she started right up and has been driving ok since. I pulled a P1250 the next day at autozone but haven't done anything seeing that she's been driving good. Still taking the turns like a large land yacht thanks to the rsb still sitting in my attic and she has lost some weight in the rear. Sadly though, I've lost all desire to do anything to her which is why the rsb has been sitting in the attic all summer as well as some other things I had planned..... :(

new shoes

Quoted again for pure sex. God, I love your rust free quarter panels... But the car looks great, man! Love the new wheels.

Jeff, I was wondering how things were going. We haven't heard from you in a while, man.

I thought you got rid of yours Jeff? Or were getting rid of it?

Well, that is still kind of the plan but right now I like having only one car payment so I'm still zooming around in the P5. She's running so I figure why not.

Wanna sell the rsb??

Sure, but not sure how much stock bars go for these days. lol Sorry but removed and sold the Progress bar a couple of months ago. The stock bar is taunting me from the attic.

Imma have to check out these rust free quarter panels myself at home tonight, never knew such a thing existed! hahahahaha

Yeah, been hanging in there but have lost any desire to really do anything with the car and just haven't logged into any of the forums for quite some time. How's the KL running?

No problem. You could buy mine and ziptie the two together....32mm of rsb beefiness. (lol2)

Drove it for the first time in, I think, two weeks...heh. I do love the car, I just am trying to keep the miles off. Plus I can't remember the last time I was going somewhere with more than one other person, so the miata is big enough :D

damn that looks so good.

btw have you been going to any mazda meets lately?

Thanks Brian, I havent been to any Mazda meet, the last one was the CHM anniversary from 2 years ago.
I did go to Mazfest at the speedway last month. did you attend?

^ super clean!
thank you sir :)

Oh damn CE28N's! Specs?
They look damn close, but these are Sportec Mono 10, forged, 15 pounds each
17x7.5 with 35 offset all around with Dunlop DZ101 205-45-17

thanks Lewis, even with the fender rub and all the paint chips from the rubbing, rust did not form at all. I was especially worried about rust since its a common problem with the protege, but its a Cali grown car, so it doesnt see much harsh elements.

Water pump seized up on freeway, broke belt, voltage starts dropping, water temp increasing. Pull off to side of road, cant reach anyone at 5 in the morning. Walk to auto parts store, purchase new water pump, antifreeze, and a new belt. Proceed to change water pump on side of road.....get it fixed....only 3 hours late to work, this included going home and taking a shower and changing clothes.......damn that sucked!

That's impressive! *golfclap*

^x3!

I removed the worn Icons and replaced them with RainX Latitudes. No more streaking but interested to see if they last as long.

You don't need to remove the timing belt when replacing the water pump? I haven't worked on an FS much so I can't remember. I'm a little skeptical. Heh-heh.

I'm off to wash my P5 and get her clean so she can get all dusty at Mid-Ohio tomorrow.
