What have you done to your P5 today?

Oh no! The pink text of authority... Run!

Lol. Searched up how to remove night shade and have found that I could use:
Wet night shade and wipe off
1000 - 2000 grit and wet sand
Thinners such as goof off or laquer thinner

I think I'll try the wet night shade first, then the thinner approach. I'll post pics when I can get around to it

Flushed the cooling system, tried some bar's stop leak. I think its working. lol

Gotta check it tomorrow.

Sold my seat and brackets.

Maybe picking up a set of prodrive rims later this week.

Driving it to save on gas vs. driving the lifted Tacoma getting 18mpg. Car got 300 miles on 11 gallons with 30 lbs of tire pressure instead of 40 and with oil that needed changing. That's about 27mpg with sportauto. I have 205/40/17s so 40lbs of pressure isn't too much. Rolling with 35-37 in them has left more tread in center than on edges. It is aligned properly and have not been autoXing so went to 40lbs. It now has 225 miles with 5/8ths of tank left on gauge. Hoping for a bit better mpg than last time since it has fresh oil change and tires filled back up. Of course I'm setting cruise on 65 instead of the usual 73 or so. I'm sure that is helping too. I usually pull 24-25 mpg avg using AC and doing 70 or so on the frwy.

Broke down tonight and with help from a neighbor swapped hoods. All the while the girls were in the house screaming "no, no, no" and my daughter informed me she will not drive in "Karen" this summer. lol Had some trouble lining it up though and started getting too cold so I'll play around with it more tomorrow. Also got the light issue fixed. I took the car to a local audio shop in town and it was a bad ground. No more hi-beams acting like city lights and I have PS lights now! :)

I'm just teasing, buddy. I had them turned off for a while too but the signature pics actually remind me of who's who a little better when on here. No worries.

Back on topic, I picked up 3 lightly used Yokahama Parada Spec2's yesterday sized 215/40-17 for $30 as spares for when I order the new tires next week. I can't wait to get the tires mounted to the new (to me) ASA so I can paint them black and have them ready to mount once the weather gets better here. And my RPF1's should be ready this week with the Nitto NT-o1's.

It's all good....I was pissed off the last few days due to my son's ongoing basketball dilema....long effin story. That said though, I need a new pic anyway. Great deal on the tires!

i was this close to banning you.

oh noes...i'm so skeered Damn dude...just saw your new sig....just couldn't wait to get a snow pic of the 6, eh?

And they be installed....stops goodView attachment 181387

HOt s*** HK nice wheels! Prodrive wheels must of cost a solid chunk of change or did you get a deal?
That silverish' finish is going to be clean on you're red P5. Mount um' up.

Nice. I'm still debating getting rims or selling my gutters and getting a five string bass to help out my friends band.

I got them for a steal! The guy was leaving the island and was going to donate the car. He was trying to get 3k for the car (engine bad). I messaged him and asked if we could trade rims. He was like "these rims are 750 each...thats with out the tires" So I was like...too much for me. Next day he said if I had spare wheels for him to tow the car and $400, I could have the rims....

SCORE! lol They are only 6 months old, the tires are same. Less than 3000 miles on them. The car had broke down like 5 weeks after he got the wheels. They were pretty dirty. I still want to clean them some more before i put them on the car though.

Too aggressive?

Finished the exhaust for the most part. Need one more V-band clamp for the rear section. The clamps that came with the two pieces were rubbish and were causing it too leak. So after I get everything said and done, finish up a few things then I will be sitting on a dyno. =)

my opinion. your exhaust is too big/ too low... wouldnt work in Colorado
