What have you done to your P5 today?

I have a 2003 p5, with 88,000 miles on it; just bought it, had to replace front strut/shock and sway bar kit, just to get a nice, noiseless ride. Now i need to do a complete tune.......ANy recommendations?

*sigh*

Although, I'm still on the original clutch, shocks, endlinks (front & rear) engine w/o any rebuilds, rotors, and calipers.. And I'm still only on the 2nd set of brakepads ever put on the car (they were done at 98k) Guess I cant complain tooo much :p

And I'm still getting 31-32 MPG.. ;)

pretty sure im not getting rid of mine until I hit that number, but i have a ways to go!

dumped my civic at 218k, so ive got the bar set :)

Got a ticket for my tails so when I get the time that will be fixed (can't decide whether to sand off the night shade, or just use paint thinner).

^that sucks.
well i sold my car today! they are going to pick it up in the next couple days. not sure what i'll be driving till i can buy a different car. it may end up being my parents old 94 suburban, haha. worst winter vehicle ever.

How much did you get, if you don't mind me asking? Debating selling mine, but I can't think of any other car I want.

i got $4650 and my car has 206500km on it. i would've liked more but i wasn't getting a lot of interest and a just want to move on to the next car.

get a wrx, haha.

Just installed a Momo ebrake handle and boot that I got for a great deal...pure sex. Just an FYI for anyone trying to remove the stock ebrake cover...get a set of gloves with rubberized palms from a hardware store. Without them, it was impossible for me to pull it off, but after I used them, I had it off in 5 minutes.

Thats not bad. I forgot what year WRX you were getting... Hahaha I'm a broke college student. My next dream car is definitely a mazdaspeed something or an 05 Legacy. God how I want a legacy.

Picked up a set of at rx8 16's

Nice and for what will you use them? They look great on the P5 (OEM Plus' car) and I should have convinced the wife when I bought hers that the MX-5 wheels on my car would look better on hers and taken the RX-8s! lol

They still had stock 225/55/16 ginormous tires on them with only like 8k miles. I am going to throw them on my GF's MZ3 since she needs tires. Once she runs those down and buys new tires for her stock wheels (or we get her some aftermarket wheels), I will sell the TPMS and get some 215/45/16's for them and use them for wet weather to save my Blitz/Volks from the ridiculous pot holes that open up.

Put in a MX-6 rear strut bar in the P5 yesterday in hopes it would help cure the slight rubbing I had in the back with the meaty 225/40's and it did just that. Tightened it up nicely...very solid :) Last thing I want to do is raise the car up...love the aggressive stance (some may not agree with my idea of aggresive but I could care less:))

Washed mine Saturday. It poured Saturday night, poured Sunday, snowed Sunday night. WTF.

Wait, what? A rear strut bar solved your rubbing issue in the rear?

I'm ordering new tires next week and was going to go with 215/40-17 again w/ a +40 offset on Tein S-techs and Tokico blues but perhaps I can stuff some 225/40-17 tires in there since I too have a CS rear strut tower brace and rolled fenders. Hmmm...

got the calipers...starting to clean em to paint......got the rotors and got the center and outside of 'em painted black......cant wait for fri.....also on way: fan switch(mine is gone), new dome light, and pass door switch....weekend gonna be busy
