What have you done to your P5 today?

emptied this out of my hot pipes

also re did my piping and put in my greddy RS blow off, prob wont be on much anymore, have to get to work on trying to fix this ****** car

from what i've heard if you had the early kits from zenesis they were crap on the remote battery, but they have revised it and it has been "fixed" when I get the kit in, i'll post up a review to let you know after a few months to get a thorough determination. i mainly want a remote start

so anyway other than that, i'm still waiting on all that i ordered to come in and am contemplating rotors as well (need them for the fronts) so when the lines and pads come in, i'll pick up a set.

So I got most of what I expected done:

Saturday - Alignment: Only could get to -2.3 in the rear. Good enough
Today - Re-mounted JL distribution blocks, ATE Rotors, Satisfied VS Ceramic pads, shaved rear bumper and rolled/cut the crazy triangle corner section at the back of the rear fender. WOOT that took care of 90% of my rubbing issues.

Going to try to take care of the header and midpipe this week.

Should be a busy weekend:

Tonight:
Shave fender section of the rear bumper since I am rubbing on it hardcore with the new low + setup

Tomorrow:
Alignment with changing camber from -1.8 all around to maybe -2 front and -2.5 rear

Sunday:

1. AWR Header (should be received back from AWR today after snapping the O2 bung off)
2. SLS Catted midpipe (should be received back from AWR today. They welded on a new flange since the one that came on the pipe was WAY too big).
3. ATE cool wavy-slot rotors
4. Satisfied VS Ceramic pads
5. ATE Blue brake fluid

Replaced my input turbine shaft speed sensor on my transmission this weekend. Very easy, just have to remove intake parts to get a good shot at it.

HEy could you post up how you mounted your distro blocks?

I know you have a sick sound system. lol

I have this little triangle problem as well.. Rolled it as much as i could and then the tires started to sand it down. I didnt want to cut it for fear of sharp metal contacting with my tires. Can you elaborate on what you did?

LOL thanks. I will try to get some pics this weekend when I do the shoot for my MOTM post.

I just cut a staight line through the triangle on the inside at the end of the metal (where it meets the bumper) which then allowed it to be rolled flat. I can try to take a pic next time I have my wheels off in the rear. Or if you can get a pic, I can mark up where I cut, etc.

Still waiting for the insurance check so I can set up the appt with the body shop but in the meantime I bought a Progress rsb and AWR endlinks. :D

Belt, Oil, and Front brakes done today as well as this:

50/35/15 (Front, Back, Rear Windshield) Yes I know the car is dirty, but hell, I'm not washing it until all this damn snow is gone, so it looks like I'm driving a pink car for a bit longer (calling for more snow tonight/tomorrow)

Had the day off work to get some stuff done around the house. Finished my A/C delete. The only thing I had to use force on was the low pressure connection to the Heater core. Just had to cut off the circular snap connector. Didn't realize until after that it was just a spring and I could have used a little more brains and a little less hacking. Now I know how to put it back together if need be.

Also tested fitment on my Pope DP. Man that thing is amazing!

Supposed to put my new cold pipe in today. But I cant get the stupid Circlip in for my BOV. lol looks like I gotta get a new tool =)

Hopefully I can finish my exhaust next week.

Got the P0031 code today. Is that the first or second O2 sensor

HKPRO5- i think i get a discount for winning mazda of the month... hook me up with an O2 sensor!! haha lol... but seriously. Can you get one?

Installed a Yellow Top in the car today before my interview for preparation for the remote start which should be in in about a week.

removed the turbo assembly, s and j pipe...the turbo is def toast, i had new IC pipes on the car, and only drove it for maybe 15 mins,
the pipes were already filled with oil
next up is cleaning the downpipe and thunder manifold, welding the crack in the manifold, and posting them up for sale

Boo. Sorry your P5 isn't cooperating lately, Simon. Wish I knew more about turbos to help out. Best of luck, mate. Hang in there.

Thanks man, but its cool....i already have a new setup in the works

the FS thread is up, figured it would be best not to weld the manifold and have a professional do it,
so if anybody wants some turbo parts...check out the thread in the MSP FS section
