how difficult is it to install struts by yourself? or how much on average ya think it would cost for a shop to do the work?
They aren't too bad if you have some wrenching knowledge. I would say they are a 3.5 out of 5 on the difficulty scale. Like someone said, rent the spring compressor, take your time, label nuts and bolts, follow the Hot-To on here and you'll be just fine. Plus you'll save $200 doing it yourself and the satisfaction of knowing they were installed by YOU.

ps- Those wheels are going to look badass. Great paint job and well done on getting them cleaned up. I just hope you don't ruin them with stretched tires... (snicker-snicker)
