started it for the first time in 3 months...after i charged the battery and cleaned the terminals....wouldn't start right away(confused), then i remembered the alarm, reset started right up...but my aero fpr, was spitting gas??? tightend up the inlet fitting and we're good to go...so it's into the garage this week to start on the TB and water pump job!

It is possible, you just need to remove the grill from the car. Then you can pop it off from the backside. It has two prongs as well as double sided tape.
I used a hair dryer to heat the tape up and dental floss....

Filled the tank this morning on the way to HD to buy a pick/ax for some outdoor work.
I didn't even do that with mine, i just left my car sitting outside during the heatwave that we had recently and went out there with a knife and peeled it off. painted it black (using the nite shade that I used on my tails and other emblems) then super glued it back into place.
I wish I could tell you how it's holding up, but I haven't seen my car in a week now
Drums aren't too bad. Just really take your time and remember where everything went, even draw yourself a diagram and step-by-step if you need to. There's just a lot of springs and clips but it's not bad. Good luck, mate!
just wonder if i should get some of these "speciality tools" for getting the springs on and off. also i dont have much for tools yet so i do need to go out and get some open ended wrenches for this. anyone use any actual tools from harbor freight? all ive gotten from them so far is a jack and griding/cutting wheels. didnt know if their hand tools hold up well

What specialty tools does it call for? I've never messed with drum brakes either, lol. Ring pliers? In regards to Harbor Freight tools, I trust their hand tools; sockets, wrenches, all that kind of stuff is decent... But I wouldn't expect much from their power tools.
The last time I did drum brakes were on my CRX and that was about 10 yers ago, heh-heh. But I didn't need any special tools. Just simple hand tools did the job.
My roommate has a tool box full of Harbor Freight tools and they work just as well as my Craftsman tools, and 1/3 the price. Their power tools are a little crummy and will break down eventually. But his HF grinder just keeps on tickin, we use that thing just about every weekend. But I kind of think quality tools are an investment. You buy some decent tools the first time, you could hand them down to your kids when you're on your deathbed. But tools are expensive... I don't have anything Snap-On or high end brands like that, but I like Crafstman tools.

the Oznium Cathodes came in the mall yesterday. most likely gunna put them in today.. if its not too hot. but yea got 2- 12'' sets and 2- 4'' sets. 1 of red and 1 white. theres 2 tubes in each set. im hopin they light up nice. ive heard good things about them but never actually seen them on a car in person.... ill be postin some pics. o and i got 4 small LEDs so i might be puttin them in the cupholder to make them glow with a waterbottle =P lol or the door handles.. not sure yet.

Does anyone have a stock front motor mount and a stock passenger side motor mount (with bracket) that they're looking to sell? I'm considering taking out my awr, medival and su mounts and swapping them with stock, silicone filled ones.
well i probably dont NEED the tools for removing the springs, would just make it much easier though.
gonna go do some shopping for regular hand tools today though. all have are sockets and screwdrivers, know i wont fix the entire car with just that
You don't need any special tools to do drum brakes, they are simple, do one side at a time so you will always have one fully asembled brake set up to refer to.
