finally, fixed, it!

hopefully lol my injector was super loose for some reason, causing a cyl 3 missfire, so i used a o ring to space it out so it fit snugly
havent gone for a drive yet, but im quite positive this fixed it

Went to Import Alliance over the weekend...total round trip was 824 miles...it was AWESOME...what a way to spend a Saturday...

just got back from nashville myself today. it was alot bigger then last year but the quality of cars was way down. BTW, i saw you scratch when we were waiting to get in the meet, i was in my buddys boosted s2k. did you get rear ended during the trip? ass end was busted up

car still stumbles/misses like crazy...super annoying and i have no idea what else it could be
how do you check a fuel injector for clogs?

got a call from the shop and the car went into paint today for prep work. should be done by late next week at the latest. when it gets back, i think im gonna nite shade the side markers, just haven't decided yet

If you don't want light at all, have you considered color matching it to the car? I only night-shaded mine because mines black mica.

i want the light there, for the reason that at night people riding along side of you don't know how to look where they are driving (i think its a virginia thing and not just northern va).

you would think a bright red car would be noticeable, but no, it's bland with all the bright green celicas and civics in this area

Gonna pick up a couple garbage cans at lowes tomorrow to make some mudflaps for the winter. Depending on how they come out, I might just keep them on there. While I'm there, I'm gonna look for something that's a better material for the flaps.

replaced the intake manifold gasket, i think its crazy how good i am at taking s*** off my car lol
only took me 40 mins max, and while i was taking the 626 mani off i noticed the far left bolt was loose...which could have been causing my problems
replaced the gasket, used a little rtv on the head side, bolted it down and made sure those bolts where in there TIGHT

hopefully this fixes my random missfire/stumbling

Hope you get it figured out, man. When I did my VTCS removal and re-installed my intake mani it idled like crap. I cranked down all the mani bolts and TB bolts again and it ran just fine. Once every 2 weeks I would get a lean code. So I took the intake mani and TB off again to install my rear motor mount and installed new gaskets on the mani and TB and applied a little RTV around the TB gasket and really cranked all the bolts down very evenly. It's been 3 weeks and no CEL for vacuum leaks. So I'm hoping that's what you've got going on too, just a vacuum leak.

wish i could do that, but it pisses me off when my car doesnt run absolutely perfect
