What have you done to your P5 today?

i've looked into the whole windows down without the key mod, but i just really feel like if someone were to find out somehow that my car could do this that it would just give them easier access to breaking into my car. instead of jimmying the door open they could just stick a coat hanger through the slot during a hot summer day when my windows are cracked and roll down my windows that way. just seems too risky to me IMHO

That's what alarms and loud horns are for. ;)

I haven't done that mod either, but only because I don't really see a need for it. If I need the windows down, my keys are right there...

I called the cops and they showed up right as the owner came out. We backed the cars apart and there's no crack or paint transfer, but there are small rub marks in the paint. He gave me his insurance info, but it's not really enough to file a claim over, although I technically could. It just sucks.

Mazdaspeeder, that SUCKS! I can't believe you kept your cool, well done, sir. A lot of poeple just see their cars as transortation from point A to point B. Man, that's infuriating just looking at those pics! (gah)
 
yeah i've had that situation happen before Mazdaspeeder, legitly 9 days after i got my car back from the shop from getting a NEW bumper cause someone backed into it.

I was lucky though, paint was still pretty fresh and i was able to get it to fill back in basically on its own. Maguires Scratch-X is my best friend in this case lol

this happened to me while at college once.

asshat didnt even have a permit to park there, so he had a ticket under his wiper. this actually played to my advantage. i took out my pen and wrote a big **** YOU on the ticket, knowing he had to fill it out and send it in.

and i spit on it. (the car, not the ticket)
 
that van would have been DONE!
wrench to the windows, slash the tires, sugar in the gas tank lol
i hate it when people are so ignorant, i would have flipped out

yeah, that felt pretty good.

luckily, in MN, they have front plates, so it was the plates touching. but my bumper was pushed in a little.

in my old car, i bumped cars a couple times (very lightly)... but i was always smart enough to back up after.

fyi, i had a 93 lumina previously. it had a big nose.
 
I just got word my P5 is totaled and it doesn't look like i'm going to fix it. Some idiot in a Jeep pulled out right in front of me from the opposite side of the road into the far lane that I was in and I couldn't avoid him in time. It smashed the passenger side front up pretty bad. The damage didn't look that bad but the insurance company called today to say it is totaled.
I guess I will use the 7k or so they give me for something a little more blue and with double the cylinders. (and 3x the hp/tq)
I also just got my Weapon R short ram in the mail today, anybody need a brand new intake? I also have 4 new quarts of Mobil 1 and a 626 filter.

oh and just sea foamed mine..gonna do plugs later and oil tonight...maybe tomorrow.

Sorry man, but 7gs is a great settlement. At least you've got some money to put toward something new!

On another note...I think I might try the Scratch X...can I just wash and then apply it?
