What have you done to your P5 today?

wash it, apply the scratch x, use some arm strength while applying it, let it haze, buff off medium pressure, wax, profit

On another note...I think I might try the Scratch X...can I just wash and then apply it?

Sometimes Scratch-x just isn't enogh and you need to flattern the area 1st with 3000grit paper. Soak the paper, wet the area and gently rub across the scratches 1st , clean the area then apply scratch-x followed with a coat of wax

that sucks your s*** got totaled but I think that seems to be the best way to get your money back out of these cars, they don't re-sale for s***. When I hit a deer 2 summers ago they almost totaled it and I would have got about 7k but there's no way I could have sold it for that

i havent gotten a check yet so idk how much it will be but it only had 83k miles was garage kept 1 owner car and had never been wrecked. the blue book is around 7k. i am looking for a blue Mach1 mustang but now im thinking about finding another p5 or msp for under 7 and pay off some debt rather than build more up. I still have my 2009 Bullitt.

2. If you are looking for another Mustang I have family that works for Ford in both Detroit and Cleveland, let me know what exactly what you want and I could try to get you a deal (if i were to get a GT500 today it would cost me the Invoice Price at the most because of family discounts)
3. If you are gonna part out, do you have a parts list of mods that you would be willing to part with (I have a mental shopping list that I am looking at right now in my head)

I just got word my P5 is totaled and it doesn't look like i'm going to fix it. Some idiot in a Jeep pulled out right in front of me from the opposite side of the road into the far lane that I was in and I couldn't avoid him in time. It smashed the passenger side front up pretty bad. The damage didn't look that bad but the insurance company called today to say it is totaled.
I guess I will use the 7k or so they give me for something a little more blue and with double the cylinders. (and 3x the hp/tq)
I also just got my Weapon R short ram in the mail today, anybody need a brand new intake? I also have 4 new quarts of Mobil 1 and a 626 filter.

Hesitant, why? 205/45's will work just fine as will 205/50's.

Yep, I'll be going with a hybrid gunmetal/silver. Gunmetal base coat with silver top coat, comes out really cool looking.

Black is too much and silver is too plain, this fits the bill nicely.

That's an awesome shot. It's simple but damn that color looks good. Makes me almost wish I wasn't rockin 22v...

And Matt, I say go gunmetal/silver too. You're right, black would be too much. But maybe just a shade darker than your second pic. Really looking forward to how it comes out!

I wouldn't go darker than gun metal, black is a fad. Someday everyone is going to look at their wheels and suddenly realize that they look like poo and the fad dies.

You going with FD's cuz they're light or cheap or both?
