What have you done to your P5 today?

Drove mine to work today thanks to the freak snow storm last night.

The more I think about it, the more I think that I may have one of those rare FS-DE's that just doesn't die like the rest do. 157k miles and still kicking. Original timing belt, I've overheated it twice thanks to two snapped alternator belts, it uses oil... go figure, but I've run it low for... longer than any good owner ever should.

might want to replace that timing belt soon lol and mine had 205k and was running strong when i rebuilt the engine :)

its all about how you take care of it

Mine is @ 175k right now. Got it in January, not sure on the history other than it was a one owner car in good shape w/ a clean car fax. Needs struts, has a dent and cracked tail on the drivers side. Cruise doesn't work, won't come on. It's not the power switch, brake lights are all good, I think it is the cruise module. Somebody had the cruise module out before, I am guessing that they didn't want to spend the money on a new one. Gas mileage is worse than I was hoping (~25mpg.) Other than that it is a very clean well taken care of P5. It was 100% stock, drives great and was not thrashed on like the others we test drove!

the pfizzle is going back in the body shop for some work to the right rear quarter and to get some dings pulled

Greg is exactly right, I'm actually trying to get a set right now that I found on the local Craigslist for $200 with tires. These are the reinforced ones also (94+).

Gotta remember location too, tho. Cali & Texas are very good, liquid markets when it comes to automotive deals... Not as great in other locations.

very true. its slim pickins in the northeast! ill keep my eyes out for other things. im driving a truck from FL to CT end of april so i gotta check the entire coastline for deals

Normally, it would have been done by now. As bad as it is to say... the engine will far outlast the body. There are holes in the floor. It just has to get me thru a couple more winters.

Fed ex came by to drop of my ecu but no one was home!!!!!! damn you spicy needing signature on the package!! hopefully ill be there tomorrow when they come by..... at any point in the day.... :/
