What have you done to your P5 today?

Ya, unless you're running extra electronics like amps or soemthing that puts a added strain on your system, you don't need a deep-cycle battery (the yellow tops) or even red tops for that matter. My red-top is out, I need to replace it before this winter. It was strugglinnnn to make it through the end of this last winter. lol Only reason I have a red-top now is cause it came on my car when I bought it.

i run regular batteries in both cars, and Callie's is bumpin pretty good in the audio dept. and she's also got a regular battery andit's doing fine.

PLUS, i got like 5 year warranty on em so, no worries there

I still poke my head into here without a p5 :D I think you will always be welcome Magnum. Your p5 is/will be legend in these parts.

good luck magnum...

sucks to hear scratch!

i drove mine around after finally putting everything back together. now i just need to wire everything up.

Yay! no more hatch rattles! not like limo quiet or anything, but nice.

I feel ya on the bi monthly sway bar tightning! Just retightened mine yesterday, stripping out the nut on the endlink/strut bolt, so its still loose and clunking till i get back home

oh, and, got a full view shot of the car now, nothing spectacular, as it's just my point and shoot, and, didn't have time for a full on "photoshoot"

Opinions? Personally, i'm LOOOOOOOVING them!!

Time to get the paintless dent removal on that rear door.

I didn't do much, got tired of the drivers mat always being halfway up the firewall. found that Mazda has a mat bracket to fix that. Got one from the stealership and installed today, no more slippy mat. The part# number is 0000-88-626b if anybody is interested cost me 6 bucks with tax.

Haha that plate is kinda funny when you think about it.

Anyway, I just ordered my new oil pan and am about to order my oil return fitting to be welded into it. (thumb)

What he said. I had a yellow top in my Civic that s*** the bed in 13 months. You know...just long enough for the warranty to mean next to dick.

My battery went dead and I was literally a block from Summit Racing at my friends house so I bought an Optima Red Top. I'm kind of a nerd when it comes to replacing parts and they can only be best quality and I like having the piece of mind when I was on tour for a few weeks that my beloved P5 would fire up when I got home. I've had the Red Top about a year and a half without any problems.

Oh, and Magnum, you're still welcome in here. While I consider myself still a noob on this forum, your P5 WILL always be legendary. And bits of her will still be within this P5 thread (*ahem* your Enkei RPF1's *ahem*) so it's allllll gravy.

I bought my Red Top used about two years ago...the guy before me said he had it for a while...I haven't had a single problem off of it...
