What have you done to your P5 today?

I drove 4 hours north to pick up my new engine. That was the first time I've ever done a full engine pull and well, that was kind of fun (wish it was warmer though). Now I have a nearly complete Protege engine block sitting in the bed of my truck. I need to figure out how to remove the torque converter (donor car was an auto) and crank pulley so I can start tearing everything apart.

Talk s*** to it. It should just jump right off and try to kick your ass... or something.

The last torque converter I even looked at was the one for my BMW, sitting on the new transmission ready to go in. Wish I could help ya.

LOL, if I talk s*** to it it'll probably curl up and go even tighter on the engine. You know, because auto's are pussies and all, LOL! So yeah, the FSM for once isn't all that helpful. Looks like I'm going to have to just go in and start pulling s*** apart.

Just found my DRL's at Walmart for $15

Just gotta solder my spare foglight plugs onto the pigtails of these and they'll be tied into the stock wiring harness

Oh, and bulbs in em right now are 55 watt, but, i'll be dropping back down to 35 before i install em so no stress no the stock setup

nah, you only see it it white cause of the flash

Otherwise, you don't see the white paint behind it

MAM catted midpipe is installed today.......doesn't feel much performance gain, only sounds deeper and slightly louder, but overall, it sounds pretty good with OBX header and MSP axleback
Approx. how much power does the midpipe suppose to add to the car anyway?

There is no ONE magic part

WithIntake, header, midpipe, catback, and MP3 ECU, you may have gained a total of 10-15 hp max

MAM midpipe just replaces that little straw pinching your free flowing exhaust

yeah, i see that.

Dang dude, you've got a treasure chest of parts at your fingertips......you sir fail

Drove to work in the snow. Glad I resisted the urge to go back to summer mode over the weekend.

Reading comprehension must be > you right now.

No place to work on the car = no work done on the car. Plus no time to do it.

I work 80 hours a week and don't have a garage. This was my first Sunday off in months. I get 1 day off from both jobs every other month and with delivering I usually don't want to look at my car those days
