What have you done to your P5 today?

I think my turbo is dying though and that's the ultimate cause of my oil burning. I had always checked the elbow right off the turbo and found o evidence of oil but today I removed that entire pipe and down at the bottom there was some slickness and oil residue. Nothing puddling but then again there is still a lower point. I'm going to check out that pipe tomorrow. Guess I'd better start saving for a new turbo now too...

Ugh, I don't know what I'd go with. I want to upgrade but I can't afford an engine build right now. I was wanting to run Sam's new smaller-housing GT3071R but I don't think the stock block could hold that even at 7 psi (where I sit w/o MBC). I want to reach 300 whp ultimately but I don't want to have to be running at like 20 psi to do it.
 
Lets Build That B....I will get you decent pricing on internals and I have guys locally that built mine that know these motors now after working the bugs out of mine.

swapped out my bald tires and put in 2 new toyo proxes4. so now i got kumho ecsta asx's in the front and the toyo proxes in the rear.

yea i know 2 at time. i'm a poor student >< ;P
 
after my failed attempt at installing the header, i had reset the ECU in the process, started her adn went to work and she purrs like a kitten!

I'll be taking the header in to a metal shop tomorrow to see if they can't weld on a new nipple.

How do you guys that run 626 headers fix the egr problem, since it doesn't line up?

The one you link'd is an OBX. Had one before. The one I'm going to be installing is a Ractive.

And, no the thread is goober'd up. Gonna take it to a metal shop tomorrow to see if we can't either rethread it, or weld on a new threaded nipple

The OBX is a good header. It's bout the most widely available. There are better headers out there, but cost more, and all basically do the same thing. Plus save over 15 lbs of weight off the nose of the car while increasing airflow

I snagged a vid of my current setup without the header, and as soon as I get the header in, i'll post up new vid for comparison

oooh... so that's what blacked out headlights and racing harts look like on Laser Blue... i'll have to do them nowssssssss

got my exhaust gasket replaced... they put some paste/seal on there insted of a gasket... whatevr it is its working fine... the car pulls again... no more farting noises when i'm on the gasssss
