What have you done to your P5 today?

My weekend:

Decided to clean my EGR valve this weekend, printed off the tutorial, it claimed 30 min start to finish, maybe im not the mechanic i thought i was......

First off, Do not, i repeat DO NOT attempt to get this ****** out from under the hood. I almost broke my hand. I got one bolt out after removing my intake, battery and strut bar. the second bolt which is impossible to get a ratchet on due to being right on top of a motor mount....

I jacked my car up and got the second bolt off with a ratchet wrench.
the amount of carbon buildup was impressive, i actually let the brake clean soak inside the valve overnight, then scraped the gunk off the inside with whatever was handy.

Car is running smoother now, and hopefully ill see an improvement in MPG

(yes)drove her like a stole her on the way to work this am...well almost like she was stolen...still can't believe how much i enjoy this car even after 7+ yrs and 117k miles...it just is so nimble and a fun car to be behind the wheel!(blah)

^^^ LOL, no problem.

Ordered a 1/8 NPT tap, 4 stainless steel plugs and a tap wrench. I'm going to fix the one port on my sandwhich plate that has messed up threads and replace the aluminum plugs with stainless steel ones (plate is AL). I'm going to get my oil pressure and temperature (when I get it) gauges installed the right way this time.

got rr-racing udp and medieval alt and wp pulleys installed. could get ps because didnt have pulley press. i can def feel the difference already tho. Here are some pics that i promised. vhted tail lights the left looks lighter because of how the lights reflecting they are both the same darkness, roof rack filler caps, and back to stock black grill with blacked emblems. also msp shifter and knob.

I took off one my cats that I had on my P5, and I also have megan cat-back exhaust.

Later, with more dough... OBX headers, Injen Cold Air Intake, Turbo kit upgrade.

If you plan to do turbo, you're wasting money on the injen cai and obx header, unless you plan on buying the turbo header and intake.
