Yah I would do at least a couple layers of clearcoat on there. Duplicolor sells a special clear coat just for wheels, I would go for that. Remember to balance that wheel, just the added weight of the paint will through the balance of the wheel off.
Wouldn't he want to do that anyways once he puts a tire on it?
Used my awesome mechanical skills to install a cx7 shorty antennae on my p5 today....(righty tighty lefty loosy).
Replaced brake pads on all four corners, (used OEM pads again because the stock ones lasted me 77k miles), and plan on doing the rear wiper swap tomorrow!
And..., as i pulled into the driveway this evening, car ticked over to 77,777 miles. Whee...

Ordered a new set of HIDs, old set acting all screwy. Does anyone know where i can get the headlight connectors from, by this i mean the white connector that plugs into the bulb. I would prefer to be able to go back to the plug and play method as opposed to the splicing method for my HIDs, but unfortunately i have misplaced my old connectors.
Washed, and tried that "wax-as-you-dry" Armor All stuff. Will see how it turns out. Anybody else find success using it?
Going to get rid of the P5.

Sorry to hear of your loss. I guess I can't blame ya...after all your new 'girl' is topless. (2thumbs)
i highly doubt youll get very prolonged protection from it. armor all for me is pretty mediocre stuff. that stuff will never touch my car. a good OTC (over the counter) wax is meguiars NXT 2.0 ive heard nothing but good things about it so far.
Yeah I realize the stuff isn't very good, shortcuts never are. However, it was just a quick thing to do between major waxes to offer a bit more protection from the salt they pour on the roads here. Plus I found the bottle at work anyway, so it was free, and who can complain about free stuff? Not I.
Vacuumed every spec of dirt in the car, took of all the little plastic bolt covers and got all those hard to reach places, and wiped everything down! Man that tires you out, but it feels nice to have a super clean car one in a while. And I know this sound gay, but I have one of those make-up brushes to clean all the vents and the deck..etc. Hey it works!(nana)
I have spent hours vacuming out my car. I dont know what the carpet is made out of but grass sticks to it like glue. I have found to save some time on vacuming if you do a quick once over to get rid of the big stuff that vacume can remove you can go over the rest with a lent roller and it removes those hard to vacume stuff pretty easy. My drive way is dirt and walkway to my car is grass so my floorboards get pretty dirty.
