Did you have to adjust the plate on the back or not? Either way, how you like it? I love mine![]()
It's the crank sensor wheel & it has to have the gap spot in the same position as it does on the oem. They are usually held on with 3 screws to the back of the pulley. Some evidentally came with that in the wrong position & people's cars wouldn't run. Always good to pay attention to detail when doing these things & make sure all is correct or rinse lather repeat sets in.no, the plate is just part of the pulley. Not even sure what it is for, some UDP's don't even have that plate in the back. My guess is it is in case the belt falls off or brakes it is just a guard

I just raced in a snow RallyX yesterday and ir ran great. Plus there were know screwes or anything, it is just fixed to the pulley. As you can see all you have to do is line it up with the peg on the crank and it is aligned.
They all have it, and its adjustable, its for timing and if the missing tooth on the back plate isn't in the right spot your car wont start. I installed it right out of the box and my timing was off, I had to adjust the back plate so my car would even run, all I was asking was if they fixed their problem or if it was probably just random, but I see yours worked right out of the box. Thx.
mine had to be adjusted before the car would even run. It seemed like such a small thing! it took a while to figure that out when PG was installing it

It puts back a little low end lost from switching from oem exh to a header plus the accessories are driven a bit slower. My AC works fine, the temp is no different from wp being slower, pwr steering same & alt is pushing 14 volts/lights at night just fine. Maybe all that s***'ll just last a bit longer since they're gettin a little break from the rpms. Have had no problems because of it for years. What difference do you feel as far as drive anad performance with UDP?
