What have you done to your P5 today?

supposedly you run rich for a while after resetting your ecu I thought? maybe just give it a while for your ecu to adjust "stuff" and hopefully you'll be back at 28 mpg soon!

yea it def runs rich right after you do it, i mean ungodly rich. makes for nice pickup though :P but yea i suppose ill wait like 2 or 3 tankfuls of gas and if it hasnt improved by then, ill reset it again.

and yea what i would give to be at 28+mpg. i havent seen that in awhile. i get around 24, damn you intake lol

Clear corner lights arrived today... Hoping to get them installed this weekend!

Those are the Celica lights right? I remember reading about that a while back but I forget now. Where did you get them from?

it dropped mine. i wish i had a AFR gauge, thatd be handy. cuz i mean with more air comes the need for more fuel. and i never reset my ecu when i put the intake on, i just got around to doing that like 3 or 4 days ago.

Hey magnum...any problems with taking the cruise control unit out? Or jst the fact that you have to zip tie them somewhere.
Nope no problems taking it out. Removing the cable from the cruise unit was a bit of a PITA but after fighting that everything just came out - just a matter of loosening some nuts and unplugging a connection. I had a picture of when I first installed mine a while back...

Damn 28mpg? Last tank I got 22mpg and that's the most I've ever seen other than when I drove to Miami.
Damn automatics!

Sweet, I'm turbo'd and I still get over 30 mpg highway, about 28 mpg mixed and about 25 mpg city. Really romping on it only yields about 22 mpg though (boom03)

lol. it usually comes out to around 25-26 because most of my driving is city but when i go back home (my parents) i mostly drive highway and i get better mileage as long as i dont drive fast, like over 70 or 80

I got 33ish highway :) wewt

but since most of my driving is city traffic, really short trips, or romping on it, I've gotten like 18mpg on a couple tanks.

Before I was turbo, 33-36highway and like 27 as my worst ever recorded (with all the NA mods I had).

The car really does impress me with the gas mileage it gets :)

:( I wish I had a manual. But still, I love my wagon. Hey magnum, you think you might be able to get a pic of it now? Just so I can get a feel of how you might have taken the cable out?

oh yeah, I have pics of my car on s-techs.. just one that looks like it isn't too blurry.. took the pics after 8, it was way rainy too..

Nothing today, since I have been in PA for the last three days.........On a good note, I am packing right now for a 6am flight back home and some happy driving tomorrow. I did manage to work 30 hours Sat and Sun this weekend though.(notcool)

This week, oil change, header goes back on, eyelids installed, hopefully a bath in prep for the first MI fun drive of the year (yippy)

I originally took it off just because of the noise on my 70 mile highway drive to work everyday. I never decided to sell it on the chance I would miss it and put it back on the car. I am hoping I can sound deaden enough this Summer and maybe it won't drive me crazy.

did you take your header off for the winter or something?

ah I see. what's your setup again? (exhaust? intake?)

I'm planning on doing some sound deadening this summer too. Too bad we don't live closer...we could do it together!
