What have you done to your P5 today?

I finally put in th WeaponR Coolant Catch tank that has been sitting in my room for about 3 weeks. I had to come up with a way to mount it though. Anyhow, I ended up running to Home Depot and picking up this 3 ft aluminum bar with an "L-shaped" cross-section and going to town with it. I ended up cutting off about a 6" piece and drilling 3 holes in it, 2 for the catch tank and 1 for some random threaded hole I found in the engine bay.

Pics!

Should one be working on a car if they lack the knowledge of an impact? The other issue is that rust eats away the metal so much that there is nothing for the sockets to grip. Hence the need to hack off. (ok...enough talking about hacking nuts here.)

I take it thats a tender subject for ya thier buddy.

Do you know who it was? NSN motorsports or something like that sells the gears at an outragous price of $255. $150 - $200 shipped is more what I'd pay. Or find a 626 in a junk yard and pay $50.

Sorry, was NSN I was thnking of. Not too bad since it is a kit, they apparently did some research on the gear ratios.

Let me know what you find.

Not on my car but had to put new tread on the wife's car today. Went with BFG Traction TA's as the Falken Ziex 512's died early.

131K, and more to come this week, Weds run to Bangor to pickup my daughter and then to Sutton Quebec, skiing with my brother for the weekend.

got half of my car washed, the other half has thick soapy ice on it.. and nearly an hour later my hands still don't have proper feeling in them.. yay 6F and outside washing the car.

it really needed to be washed. I have pics of pre-wash to prove it. my hands feel 90% normal today so it was worth it maybe. I still need to finish though, the car looks funny caked with soapy ice. the water was freezing within seconds of spraying it on.

potential buyer

might be selling my P5 today:( but still have my speed:)

washed the other half of my car today. I used waterproof gloves this time. It still iced up as I was spraying the water on, even though it's hot water comin out. I think I got all the soap off, but oh well as least I got the salt off

My car was dirty as well, but I didn't really feel like risking frostbite like Kansei so I took it through a car wash ;) Then I dried her up real nice with my MF towel. My god, it looks completely different. Seriously, it was like washing off a Pontiac Aztec-shaped dirt/salt shell and finding my car underneath. It'd been so long since she was clean!

Put Bomz SRI on today w/ Raider's help :-D Pics are here!
