that was fun as crap huh? I'm co-driving RacerXGirl's DS MSP for the rest of the season :D

On Avon TechR's :p

When does the season end for you? This sunday is the last event up here :'(

Last event is Nov. 19. Last year it was December 4th lol. It looks like this year is shaping up to be colder than the last few, so having that last 1 a month sooner should work out for us.

yea i have the silverstar turn signals too, there awsome.but i cant find the rear ones tho.and the only replacements i can find are clear, not yellow.weird?i thought about painting them a light shade of red,i dont like the yellow bulb look in the clear housing.

You could always get some bluebatmobile overlays. If that isn't the look you want try these - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/7440-7440A-silver-chrome-marker-turn-signal-bulb-bulbs_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33717QQihZ020QQitemZ300032722969QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW

I bought chrome ones for my Saturn Vue (front turn signals) from this same seller and was very pleased. Fast shipping and so far a great product.

Here's the entire list I was able to find - http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?sofocus=bs&sbrftog=1&from=R10&catref=C6&satitle=chrome+bulbs+7440&sacat=-1%26catref%3DC6&sargn=-1%26saslc%3D2&sadis=200&fpos=18045&ftrt=1&ftrv=1&saprclo=&saprchi=&fsop=1&fsoo=1

camera phones ftw!

I did this yesterday and the car still works so I guess I done did it right. I did find out that if you don't wire it up correctly that you'll have to brightness setting for the headlights hahahah

Oh yeah, the wheels aren't painted - its just a lot of brake dust...I guess I should wash that dirty dog.

I bought silverstars and didn't notice anything from stock (new), come to find out, my car came with Sylviania's... HID however, big diference!!!

I love'm

lol....I bet there is a huge difference with the HID's, just not in the budget at this time for me. As far as the silverstar's this is the third set (3 different cars) that I have bought. I have been very happy with their longevity and brightness. Looking to buy the high beam bulbs now.

Designed originally for racing engines, today's compact production engines can also benefit from the used of GReddy's Radiator Bleed Tank. By mounting the tank high up in the engine compartment, you can be assured that of a fully filled system with room for air expansion, thus reducing chances of overheating due to air-lock. Hi-Pressure Radiator Cap included.

The air-removal tank is in parallel with the radiator. Once the thermostat opens, the hot coolant bypasses the radiator to pass through the tank, and is returned, hot, to the water pump inlet to re-enter the engine housing ports.
It's purpose is first to collect air/vapor in an upper, stagnant chamber. Then by thermal expansion of the fluid and gas, it purges the collected air into the vented overflow bottle by way of a 3rd hose that ends in the bottle below the coolant level. Air bubbles rise to the top and vent to the atmosphere. Upon cooling-contraction, coolant from the bottle is pulled back into the system.
The coolant that flows to the separation tank comes from the top of the thermostat housing, where a mini chamber is cast into the housing. The entry into this chamber can be seen after removing the fill cap as a 10mm hole. The only chamber exit is the hose to the separation tank. The purpose of the mini-chamber is to encourage any air that is passing below, from the open thermostat to the radiator, to rise up and be sent ( with coolant ) through the small bypass line to the separation tank

*Much good information*

Thanks Kevin....especially for not saying search. I will look into this immediately. Knowing that you are a certified car mechanic I take this to heart.

Dave.
