*Edit: Oh yeah - cleaned and re-oiled the K&N cone (having the entire f'n front end off makes for EZ access (stash))

Really? Because when I put mine in, I noticed a difference - not jaw to the floor improvement, but it was noticeable.bumpin_p5 said:I just put my OBX Header on that I got from Ken at ProtegeGarage. Great sound, no noticable difference in power I guess until the ecu has time to get used to the set up.
As always, you're more than welcome Patrick. But I can't really see anything in these shots - full frontal please.Bala de Plata said:Installed Canadian headlights (gotta thank Andrea(canada)), Xenon-Shop 6000K HID's (drove home from fireworks at the lake with these pointed at the ground :-/ ), new fender/light tabs and an Apexr1 diverter plate. You're looking at about $850CA, plus about $90CA for shipping..paul said:How much were the Canadian headlights again? Weren't they some unreasonably high price?
850.00 CAD Canada Dollars = 764.114 USD United States DollarsMyZmZm said:You're looking at about $850CA, plus about $90CA for shipping.
I myself went from the chrome housing to the black... granted, it was 3 years ago, but I can't recall any issues with reduced light output..paul said:850.00 CAD Canada Dollars = 764.114 USD United States Dollars

Hurm, so DIY it is. How many people reported lost of lighting after doing the DIY blackout?

Had to remember where they went! lol
Right, it should have no effect. However, I remember one person (dude who just turboed his black p5) complaining that his light output when down after he did it. I know that if it's done right the only part that will be black is the housing but it never hurts to check. Naw mean?Bala de Plata said:I bet none. The reflector stays chrome and you only paint the housing, here's a close up of the Canadian light - diy will look the same ... I planned on doing a P5 light conversion for my MSP, so I was in the market for some lights anyway (I believe the exchange rate was a little more favorable when I got my set of Canadians last year).
