i'm really tempted by ken's bbk for front and rear - i need something that will fit under my 15" steelies for the winter, but fill up the space left by the rh's in summer. besides, with my eventual plans, better stopping power is always good :D

oh dear... that's nothing compared to what i'm going to have. i'd say by the time i get all my stuff, i'll probably have 2-3x what's in your picture

products:
poorboys - wheel sealant; ssr 1, 2 and 2.5; nattys blue; natural look; trim restorer; spray and gloss qd; all purpose cleaner
clearkote vanilla moose wax and red moose wax; klasse aio; klasse sealant glaze; wolfgang deep gloss sealant; four star ultimate paint protectant; plastx; p21s gel; opti-clay, fine grade; 303 wiper treatment and washer tablets, and cleaner; quick and easy wash; zaino starter kit (bought last summer; love it!)

supplies:
7 blue and 7 yellow mf's; 4 riptide ww's; 1 monterey ww; 1 bug scrubber; various flannel rags (for interior/under hood/wheels only); 1 turbo palm (for holding the pads while working by hand); 2 blue, 2 green, 1 orange and 1 yellow pad (for the pc); 5 yellow foam applicators; 3 cotton applicators; 4 mf applicators; 3 washmitts; grit guard; car duster; 5 spray bottles (of various sizes for the different concentrations of cleaners); porter cable random orbital polisher

umm.... i think that's it (shocked)

My god, you are insane :D Wanna clean my car? I'm in Iowa, which fits your location description perfectly ;)

Eventually I'll break down and buy a lot of that nice cleaning gear. Not that much, but a good amount!

i am NOT insane... well, not that much ;) lol but check the sig dear... i'm in Canada, so like i told mark if you park your car in the driveway, i'll work on it... after mine, of course :)

tell ya what? we'll do a trade: i'll detail your car, you finish dynamatting my hatch and floor, fix my amp ground, and build me a custom sub box :D

trust me, i'm not even CLOSE to going over the top... i was visiting mr detailer (on this forum) last week for a few days, and what i will have pales in comparison to what he has - over $3000 worth of supplies! (shocked)

sounds like a fair trade... drive south of the border and lets do it! assuming a custom sub box can be made entirely of mdf. mdf is my tool, i don't work with that crazy fiberglass stuff :D

as long as it would look oem and do the job, don't really care what it's made of - i just don't have the tools/space/know-how to do that sort of thing myself.

i've already done my big trip for the year, but there's always next year :)

what are you looking for in the way of a custom sub box that looks OEM?

either something similar to this
http://www.msprotege.com/forum/showthread.php?t=123622738

or this

it doesn't have to be anything fancy, just something that will hold my 10" JL, have an OEM look and feel to it, like it belongs/came with the car, but removable (has to come out for autox).

I love my sub, just hate how much room it takes up in my hatch.

man...i mean "lady"....i wanna do the same mod! i've for a sub box i made just to have something...but i wanna recess it into that area on the right where the jack stand is....we need to do this...!

Whenever I wake up, probably around 9 or 10. It'll be hard to sleep with that sitting in the driveway! ;) I'm still in need of a banjo fitting for the water feed and the check valve, so if anyone has one lying around, lemme know! I know it's a long shot, but why the hell not, right?

good thing you corrected yourself... or might have had to do some correcting for you! (enguard) lol

yes we do! that's where i'd prefer to put mine too... just a little more room available for a larger sub. if it ends up jutting out into the hatch a little - say 5-6" - it'll still be tons less than the room the sub currently takes up.

if you ever get on this and get something fabbed up, i'd be very interested in seeing it - and likely getting one :D you'd make another for me out of the goodness of your heart, wouldn't you ? of course you would... ;)

yesterday I got one lowering spring on... damn endlinks, ended up cutting it.

attempting to finish today, good thing I have tomorrow off as well.

Took the crossbars off, and should have the filler caps on Tuesday or Wednesday. Aaahhhh, no more whistling on the highway.

well, the other rear didn't take near as long... but I'm calling it a night... lowering your car alone SUCKS...
