What have you done to your P5 today?

Now what I did to it today, what someone else did to it yesterday. Pics to come... (sad2) I'm 99% sure it was someone at work. They're pulling the security tapes monday to see what happened. Whoever it was almost took my taillight right off. There was a field tech meeting at my building(I work for the Cox Cable). The paint on the wheel well is white and it was obviously something big because of the 2 1/2 ft. crease just below the windows. Pissed.

could've been one of the Cox vans...

Over a foot of the damn white sh*t has fallen since midnight... and more is forecast for the rest of the weekend. So yeah, watched as she turned from somewhat blue to white.

I REALLY HATE WINTER. :(

I haven't driven my P5 today but I will later tonight. I'm excited because my protegegarage.com order came in, so now I'm applying primer to the 323 and "mazda" badge before I paint them and I'm going to go down into the garage and put my rear endlinks on. Sucks that I had to break off both front endlinks though :( , so now I'll still be stuck with one sway bar.

I gotta work on rubbing the adhesive off the rear of my car around the emblems so that it looks nice and clean when I pop the new ones in.

Does anyone from doing lowering springs or struts remember when you tightened the 17mm nut on top of the rear struts? I think I had already taken the spring compressors off when I did it and I can't tighten either of them any more without the big washer thing and the inner shaft of the strut spinning with the nut. When I did the front ones I did the tightening with the spring compressors still on so it worked a lot better. Driving around a little last night I definitely heard some rattles coming from the back but it could easily have been all the trunk trim and the rear seatbely brackets and such. I'll tighten everything up while I'm down there and try again.

Well, I took my car out for parts and food. Then installed new struts in a 92 Chevy Lumina...oh the joy! I love helping friends out.

As promised, pics from today...

In the first pic, the AWD infiniti g35 beside me (i'm right beside the truck) got stuck trying to get out, so i had to drive while 4 guys tried for about 10 minutes to get it out... but i had no problems whatsoever. (first)

Take that AWD!
