What have you done to your P5 today?

Install is pretty easy, just some minor trimming of the back of the grill. I will take a pic and send it to you.

i forgot...installed the air horn (the other day) forgot to do the how to!! great horn....i love beeping now!:)

Swap'd my injen filter for a AEM, sent payment for my Mazda 3 Speed rims and ordered my eibach springs...

I have about 6 more things to get within the next 2 weeks... for now (lol2)

Since we reattached the stock O2 sensor, my CEL has come and gone about 4 or 5 times - currently it's on. I haven't gone to Autozone to double-check that the code(s) are the same as previously (and I should, just to make sure), but I'm really thinking something is jacked up in the wiring there somewhere. :( *sigh*
Bah! That's the worst thing that could happen now - an electrical problem. I have no idea how to fix those and the dealership sure as hell would want to look at it - they'd probably blame the nonfouler anyway. Well I guess I just wait to see if it comes back on again...

Went to install new rear brakes and wheel bearings and found I did not have a socket to fit the nut for the hub. Got one at Autozone, 35MM. Too late by the time I got home. Wish I had a garage. Sigh, hope the weather holds

well i got bored today cuz of the rain in the morning, so i that my headliner project that has been waiting for about 3 weeks(the stuff was waiting in the garage). it was not that hard to do, best way was a little at a time. start in the middle (front or back) and smooth it out towards the ends in total cost of $30 and a couple hrs time. now i have to paint all the pillars back to finish it off. i forgot what it was that i got from Hancock Fabrics, i will find out on weds. wilson

anyway youi can do a write-up of some sort...maybe with some pictures...

mybe uninstall and re-install it..lol

it was very easy, took me like 30 mins start to finish...i'll take some pic and wriet something up as well

doing udp tomorrrow.... will i need an impact socket if i am just using a hand impact driver with a max torque of 200 lb ft or will a regular craftsman work fine?

Could you give more details please? Like where you bought it, for example.
sure!

this was a really easy mod.

i have a mint blue grill so getting to the stock horn and replacing it may be easier that with a stock grill...? not sure, maybe bruce can chime in here?
anyway, i was able to reach in from the top and remove the bolt, disconnect the wire and pull out the stock horn in about 3 mins.

i used the bracket that come with the horn listed above and just turned in so the flat part would meet the frame, use the existing bolt hole, attached the ground to the stock bolt, attached the power lead to the + terminal...bolted it back on and i was done. i'll attache some pics tonight.
you need one wrench and about 30 mins start to finsh (even less)!!(cool) i love the sound as well!

is there a trick to using a hand impact driver? mine isnt doing nething to get the crank bolt off...

is it in gear and are you hitting it with a hammer?

yea but on the driver it has two arrows, one point left says loosen, right says tighten. i turned to the left and it does nothing.... it's not turning the crank or anything so it seems like it's not doing nething
